Kapitel 99: When your boyfriend lived just a minute away

It was just a few days...I knew it was just a few days, but I felt excited beyond measure. And it wasn't even because of the teleportation portal--the staple fantasy setting that I had never tried before. 

It was because I remembered what Natha said; that we would be able to meet when the portal was done.

As I impatiently waited for the elevator door to open, I could feel the vibration of the mana from the elemental birds that supplied the portal's energy. Yep--rather than using expensive mana crystal as fuel, the portal would use the elemental birds' magic energy. Very cost-effective, I must say.

This smooth whirring sound meant the workers had started to activate the portal, and I couldn't stop fidgeting. Was this how it would feel to go to your lover's home?
