Kapitel 254: Regrets

Varya had to return to her son once Ebari was finished with his shower. 

She departed, promising each other to meet soon to figure out the mess Khion and his men had put them into. She promised to not be so relentless and give Ebari some time before she forced him to have to resume his usual duties. 

As she walked back to her son's room, she silently willed the world to allow Galen to wake up soon so Ebari could find some peace in this lifetime. It was so cruel that he would realize his feelings amidst a tragedy like this. It would be even worse if he never got to confess to the man. 

Varya felt herself getting choked up at the thought as she walked through the hallways and she had to stop in a stairwell and pull herself together. She was only considering the worst-case scenario and not all of the possibilities.
