Kapitel 226: Going Forward

It had been such a long time since Ebari had even gone into Varya's quarters outside of dinnertime since the prince had moved in completely. It felt good that her friend still wanted to come to her when things happened in his life. 

Varya patted the couch next to her, telling her company to sit down. She had a small, knowing smile on her face. 

"Something you need to tell me?" she asked sweetly. 

Ebari felt heavy at her question. It seemed she already knew everything there was to know. 

He still sat down, deciding to measure the situation based on what Galen had told her. 

"So you've heard," Ebari said, eyeing his friend as he spoke. "What could there be left to say?"

Varya pulled one of the large pillows off of the couch and put it on her lap so she could cuddle up to it while she spoke. 

"I don't know," Varya said. "Maybe you could tell me your perspective and how you're feeling."
