Kapitel 172: Getting Ready

Basileus quickly returned to his quarters after his match was over. He had no desire to be around anyone.

He slowly took off his armor and put it away. Next, his spandex was removed and he had every intention to do some training to burn off the rest of the fire that was left inside of him. He didn't feel tired despite the lack of sleep. Fighting Ebari reminded him how much he had been holding back for Varya's sake.

After throwing the match, he felt like a fool. Varya was probably disappointed in him. He felt conflicting feelings of wanting to defend himself and wanting to ignore it for as long as he possibly could.
