"Dimo, come here. Don't worry, father is here now. I will protect you," Duke Olivier opened his arms, but Dimo kept crying and held onto Arabella's arm even more.
[They said I could keep learning magic if I behaved. Did I do something wrong?! But… I don't want to stay here no matter what. I'm sure Aunt Sonia and the Head Butler will keep trying to kill me. They already attempted several times. My nanny even died because of the poison.]
Dimo was truly afraid that Arabella and Ferdinand would leave him behind despite saying he could stay in the Magic Tower. His tears worsened and his grip on her arm tightened to the point it hurt.
"Child, let go. You are hurting the Empress," Ferdinand warned Dimo when he noticed.
Dimo sniffed and glanced at Arabella's arm and then to her face. He looked guilty and wanted to loosen up his hold, but he feared they would teleport without him, so he didn't.
"But you'll leave me behind, waaahh!!!" He cried loudly now like a small toddler.
