Kapitel 355: Mysterious Helper

The rain continued to pour in torrents as the maids rushed to close all the windows in Arabella's study at the mansion.

Once all the windows are safely shut tight, the maids did their supposed task.

When they were done, Arabella made all of them leave except for Renee.

"Renee, you look tense. Did something happen," Arabella maintained her mask of a smile despite her worries.

She was aching to ask a ton of questions and scold Renee but did her best to remain calm.

She hoped Alwin was able to prevent Renee's attempt to poison Queen Fatima.

"I… Uhm, Your Majesty, I would like to quit as your maid from today onwards," Renee informed now that she had the chance to speak. She didn't delay any longer since she needed to escape in case someone finds out it was her who poisoned Fatima.

"It seems you have decided to continue with your revenge.

Why did you decide to push through with it?

Did something happen while you were trying to verify if they were working together?"
