David ran out with Journee shouting that he was taking her to CT. While nurses and other doctors went away with Journee, William stopped David asking for anything he could tell about her. David politely said that he would get a CT and then come tell about her.
Archer kept waiting in the waiting area with them. He could see the worry, the concern, the shock, the guilt in everyone's face. But he had no idea he too was feeling those things. Why was he worried about her? Why his heart jumped out of his chest every time she would flinch with pain?
He stood up simultaneously with Kay. They both saw David coming their way. He looked somewhat calm. It meant it was good news. Archer finally took a deep breath.
David told them that her CT was clear. There was no bleeding no swelling. Her ribs were bruised and the glass in her stomach punctured nothing. She was very lucky and that he was going in the operating room to get the glass out.
