"Sure," Hue replied, "we will be there as long as the Emperor permits it."
Kith left the villa and Little Vella stayed back for a while as she had something to give to Jennet.
"This is for you," she said and handed a little box to her, "I have never given humans any gift but, for you it is special."
Jennet took the box, "Thank you." She opened the lid and found a golden bracelet resting on a velvet cushion. The bracelet was designed intricately and with fine craftsmanship.
"This is so beautiful..." she gasped, "thank you." She smiled at the beacon.
Little Vella said nothing and just left, which put Jennet in a bind.
"Do you think she regrets gifting me something as expensive as this?" she questioned her husband.
Hue laughed, "No. Every beacon is like that. They lack words, just like those grim reapers. But, believe me, honey, she is not regretting it."
