"Then, what are you planning to do?" Asked Cleria.
She doubted that Ingvild was planning to go to the Underworld.
Due to long life span of the devils, making them almost immortals because they can't die from old age, there are still many survivors of the Civil War of the Underworld.
Because of this, there are still devils who hate the Leviathan Clan, and they will surely try to kill her.
Meanwhile, Ingvild was silently assessing the four of them, to make sure, if they were people to be trusted. At least, there was only one person that might get a decent 'score' from what she saw until now. Even if that same person has remained quiet since they arrived.
All the present noticed the gaze of the purple haired focused in Zircon, making them to lift up their guards.
Cleria let her Demonic Power flow through her body, preparing her special ability just in case. Yuria's eyes glimmered with blue light, and where her hands were placed, there was some kind of illusion, in which blue roses with black vines were growing. Asako's eyes also started to glimmer, but instead of a deep blue it was red as the blood under a spotlight, with red mist emanating from her body.
Ingvild could feel the sudden hostility sent towards her. She couldn't understand why the sudden change in their attitudes but she knew that she must do something to calm them down.
"I wish to have a place where I can rest. At least for some time before departing again." Ingvild said.
"Then why here?" Yuria asked after her eyes returned to normal and the roses vanished themselves in blue dust.
"Even if I had to move around this world while being stranded, it doesn't mean than I'm ignorant about the world." She then looks at Cleria in the eyes, as if she recognizes her. "Cleria Belial, overseer of Kuoh Town, and youngest cousin of Diehauser Belial who is one of the strongest devils apart from the four Satans."
"I see that you have studied." Said Cleria in a joking way.
"It's not like I had any other option. After all, information is a necessary power to survive." Ingvild said with a grim expression.
"Sorry." Cleria gave her an apologetic look when she noticed her expression.
It must have been hard for the 'young' devil to live alone while being hunted down for her enemies during a long time. At least, that was what Cleria was thinking.
"Don't worry. It doesn't matter anymore." Ingvild waved her hand. "Either way, I'm planning to move here for a while, at least until I find a way to make sure that don't track me as long as possible."
"And why do you think that I would let you stay in MY territory?"
"Cleria?" Asked Zircon shocked by the sudden change of attitude of his teacher.
"Sorry if I sound cruel, but Miss Ingvild." Cleria gave the purple haired girl a look that showed that she wasn't messing around. "You must know that if I host you, then Kuoh in its inhabitants would be likely in danger by the people who wants to catch you. Even the lives of my peerage and my disciples would be in danger."
"They are welcome to try." Said Asako with confidence.
It was obvious for the ex-special agent that the 'disciples' were Asako, Yuria and Zircon, and because the Belial Clan in known to be kind with their members, including servants, it wasn't a surprise that Cleria was protective with them, even if she knew what they were capable of.
Cleria just gave her a look telling her to 'be quiet' for the moment, which only made Asako to shrug herself.
"My point is. What can you offer to take such risk?"
The silence in the room was once again present. Cleria's words were right; Ingvild Leviathan, even if she doesn't belong to the same faction of the other descendants, she is still a Leviathan descendant. The sole Clan name makes her a big target for those who want to use her as a weapon, as lab rat by making her pass through several experiments or even kill her which could be the best ending depending the kind of death cause.
Meanwhile, Ingvild was meditating about what she can offer. She wasn't the kind of pushover that would insist in get what she want if she can't give something of equal value in exchange.
After a minute of meditation, she thought about something that she could use for negotiation.
"What about the cure for the 'Sleep Disease'?" She smirked at them with confidence.
With exception of Zircon who still doesn't know about what the purple haired was talking about, Cleria, Yuria, and even Asaka widened their eyes in disbelief.
"Impossible!" Yelled Cleria. "The Sleep Disease has no cure. If it does have, then we should have already found it with the medical advances of the Serafall Memorial Hospital."
Ingvild chuckled by seeing her reaction. She just needed some more pushes to get her.
"What if I tell you that I was a former 'host' of such 'disease'?"
Once again, Cleria widened her eyes in shock. Through all the history of the Supernatural World, there wasn't even one patient who has woken up after falling asleep for such disease, it was unheard of. She tried to search in Ingvild's expression any trace of lies only to realize that she was dead serious. Even so, she couldn't make any hasty decision without evidence.
"How can I know that are you telling the truth?"
Ingvild then searched under the neck of her clothes only to take out a transparent crystal hanging from a chain as a pendant. The crystal was the same one that saved her from that empty fate several years ago, and her last memento of her parents.
"Almost a century ago, I was supposed to fell asleep eternally. But one day my father found this crystal and it helped me to stay awake since then."
Cleria scoffed after hearing the story. "Your story doesn't make any sense. Do you really thought that I would believe that something so ridiculous as a crystal would be capable one of our worst curses?"
"You are always attentive to gossips and rumours. You should already know how to differ between lie and truth."
Both of them stared at each other in the eyes, as if they were analysing each other, in search of any flaw in them.
Even if the brief explanation of Ingvild sounded ridiculous for Cleria, she knows that the purple haired doesn't gain anything by lying. Moreover, even if it were a ridiculous story, if it really is the solution for the Sleep Disease, then many devil lives would be saved.
"Very well, you may stay. But under my supervision."
"And I will ask you to treat me at least as an equal and not your tool."
The two women nodded in agreement and shook their hands, closing their deal. It could have been a serious moment, in which the princesses of two enemy clans would have reached a mutual agreement, if it weren't due to...
"Zzzz."
The two women looked at the source of the snores, only to see the little Zircon sleeping peacefully on top of Asako's lap, who was brushing slowly his hair with her hand, with a smile on her face.
"I think we should rest for today, Zircon has school tomorrow." Suggested Yuria, as well with a sweet smile while looking at the sleepy face of her beloved one.
Cleria and Ingvild nodded silently in agreement once again, and Ingvild couldn't help but felt a little envy of the scene in front of her. She remembered her time with her mother, who also used to brush her hair when she was going to fall asleep.
She at least expects, that could find some peace in this town, even if it is temporally.

Villain4ever: Well guys, this could be considered as the end of 'Volume 1', which is going to be titled... well I don't know yet. Any suggestions?
Either way, I have bad and good news, both of them having to do with my two-week absence.
I will start with the bad one.
The bad news is that I don't know how to continue the story. I have scenes, but can't think in any development for the story.
The good news, well, depending if you consider them like that, is that I'm going to upload a new story between tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Maybe some of you won't like it at first glance, but I want to ask you to give it a chance.
In addition, to finish with this note, for the future of this story and those who like it, I want to say that don't plan to end it like this. I won't be satisfied with this kind of ending, so I will hopefully return to this 'world' to continue narrating this story that you know as 'Revenant in an Anime World'.
I will 'see' you soon, because this is not a 'good bye'.
"I hope you have enjoyed it and see you soon."
