He might have realized it later than Wilson, but he was certain this was the man King had described earlier. If he was truly the leader of the Trinity, then he shouldn't underestimate the man.
Wilson knew Charles wouldn't be able to utilize foresight efficiently in this battle. He didn't have the energy to spam the ability continuously, but he obeyed his brother anyways. Charles had told him enough times already that he didn't need his ability to fight people on the level of the Trinity, and Wilson was going to trust in those words. He trusted Charles, and Charles would never die on him.
Charles could see the energy of the man before him was halved, which could only mean he had engaged in a battle before he came here. It was obviously King, but for this man to escape from King meant he was dangerous.
