Kapitel 143: 143. Greedy

It has been thirty minutes, Damon heard a loud voice say between his nap. He slowly raised his head up and stood to his feet. "Shall we?" He said and took off.

He kept his eyes peeled and his ears to the ground as they stepped into the Nolands. He could feel that he wasn't the only agitated. He couldn't blame them. A night like this has probably never been imagined.

The moon shone brightly in the sky as Damon raced through the drylands. It was always ironic how No lands was in the middle of prosperous lands, yet it was this dry. It was almost as if it was cursed.

Damon heard an unusual sound but he didn't slow down. Whatever it was, he intended to outrun it. He didn't have any time to fight. Mauve life depended on him and this was a task the King had entrusted him with, he intended to do it properly.
