Aláine's Point of View

The following morning, we took Axel for a run before breakfast. It was good to see that he could run again and loved running throughout the forest. I didn't need to run with him, as he would take off and return often. It also gave me a chance to have quality time with Kristof, which didn't involve sex.

When we sat for breakfast, Kristof explained that Michel would take Daniel, Jake and me for training. We would train together, so I could get used to their fighting style. Kristof made it quite clear that the purpose of the exercise was self-defence, and it would be up to my guards to keep me safe.

All four of us first went for a run in wolf form around the forest as a warm-up. Michel decided it would be preferable to learn to fight in human form while only practising running in wolf form. I needed to be comfortable as a wolf before learning to fight like one.
