Just then the waiter showed up. "What will you be having today?"
Syl spoke up. "I'll have a caramel frappuccino with whipped cream and sprinkles and she'll have an iced coffee with a scone. Unless she's changed her mind."
Syl looked over at Kiryuin to confirm.
She nodded and the waiter walked away.
"Fufu. What a gentleman."
Syl smiled. "As I said, I need to make my parents proud somehow."
"Are they not already proud? You're quite a good student."
Syl looked at the sky and smiled. "I have no clue."
He returned his gaze to her with a sad look in his eyes.
She reached out across the table and covered his hand with her own. "I'm sure you've made them ecstatic. The same way my parents feel about me."
Syl chuckled and wiped his right eye. "That's some crazy high praise coming from you."
Kiryuin smiled kindly. "Who wouldn't be proud of the lord of the flies."
Syl smiled slightly. "Thanks."
The waiter returned with their orders.
Syl took a sip of his drink and smiled.
"How is it?"
"Good. Want a sip?"
Syl nodded and took a sip. He didn't even freak out over the indirect kiss!
What a chad!
Well in Canada it's not really a big deal…
Anyway!
The two ate and held conversation for about an hour before deciding to finally move on.
Kiryuin got ready to pay for her food but Syl stopped her.
"It's on me."
He paid for both of their food and drinks and the two made their way out of the cafe.
They walked side by side through the mall when eventually Syl spotted someone.
"Kiyopon~!" Syl called out as he jumped on Ayanokoji's shoulders.
Sato, who was beside him, was shocked and a little angry.
"Fufu. How energetic." Kiryuin walked over to the group.
"Can you get off?" Ayanokoji asked.
Syl chuckled and changed targets.
"Hirata! I choose you!" He said as he landed on his back.
Hirata being the good guy he was caught Syl.
"Hey Syl. What are you doing here?"
Syl pointed at Kiryuin. "She dragged me out."
Kiryuin smiled. "Are you this guy's friends?"
The group nodded. "And you are?" Kei asked.
"Fufu. Just a wandering beauty."
Syl sighed. "She's the one who gave us the mid term test answers in term one."
Sato's eyes lit up. "That was you? You like totally saved me there! Thanks a lot!"
"It's only natural. You did get the best notes after all."
"Uhh… yeah." Sato responded, not sure what to say.
Syl chuckled and walked back over to Kiryuin's side. "So, are you guys on a double date?"
Sato blushed and Kei looked angry. Syl laughed at the reactions.
He pulled out his phone and sent Kei a text. [Someone's got a crush~! I can't believe you would let Sato date Kiyopon.]
Kei tried to kick Syl in the shin but was stopped by Kiryuin.
She smiled at Kei and gave her a look almost like she was saying. 'Hands off'
Kei sighed and pouted, still upset she had to watch her best friend on a date with the guy she likes.
Syl clapped his hands. "Why don't we make this a triple date? Are you alright with that?"
Kiryuin looked slightly adverse, but eventually nodded. All the class D students were fine with it.
So, the six of them went off together to the movies.
Syl sat next to Kiryuin and lifted the armrest in between them.
Halfway through the movie she leaned in towards Syl and he warped his arm around her shoulder.
They cuddled together until the movie ended.
Funnily enough out of the three couples they were the only ones even touching each other…
Anyway.
The movie eventually ended and the couples all left the theater together.
"What did you guys think?" Hirata asked.
Syl yawned. "Honestly? No clue what happened."
"Eh? Did you not watch the movie?" Kei asked.
Syl shook his head. "Not really."
"Fufufufu."
"What does that mean?" Kei asked.
"Oh how pure! How naive! She doesn't understand the immensity of heaven and earth!"
Kiryuin smirked.
Kei frowned. "What's that mean?"
Syl chuckled mysteriously. "You'll learn one day junior."
"I'm older than you!"
Syl stroked his beard. "A child who has yet to peek at Mt. Tai has no right to comment on my age. Train for 100 more years before challenging me again."
"What does that even mean?!?!"
"Hohohoho." Syl laughed.
Kei just sighed and gave up. There was no arguing with Syl when he's like this. You will never win.
Syl looked at a clock. "It's getting kind of late, shall we all part ways?"
Sato instantly agreed. "Good idea!"
Kei looked annoyed. "I think we could stay a little lon-"
"Great! I'll see you guys soon!" Syl cut her off.
He waved at his friends as he walked away with Kiryuin, linking arms.
"So, how was your day?" Syl asked as they walked down a snowy path by the benches.
"Fufu. It's been very entertaining."
Syl smiled. "I'm glad. I had a good time too. It was great to get my mind off some things and get out today."
"It goes without saying that you would have a good time, after all, you spent today with me."
Syl chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
Eventually the two reached Kiryuin's dorm.
Syl released her arm.
"Then, I'll see you around." Syl said.
"Yes, you will." Kiryuin said as she turned and walked away, purposefully swaying her hips.
Syl gulped at the view.
Kiryuin turned around with a smile on her face and winked. "Let's do this again, you do own me one more day's worth of entertainment after all."
Syl smiled and nodded. "I can't wait."
