"Hmmm....it thought so." Leon's smile thinned out. "Ella is not going to be happy with this decision but I guess it's for the best."

"I understand your concern but Ella's health comes first. As much as I want her to be happy and attend the wedding, her life and that of her babies are more important to me." Dr Julie stressed.

"For the next one to two months, Ella will be confined to a compulsory bed rest. She'll be spending one week with us here at the hospital for close observation. Afterwards, she will be discharged to go back home and continue with the compulsory bed rest. She is not permitted to work or leave the house for two months. I will dedicate myself to keeping a close eye on her throughout her remaining months of pregnancy until she finally gives birth. Is that understood?"

"Yes... Thanks again, doctor." Leon stretched his right hand out towards Dr Julie for a handshake.

"You're welcome." Dr. Julie smiled, as she shook hands with him.
