"I hope you're strong enough to make this worth my time, I certainly don't expect you to come anywhere close to defeating me, but I hope you at least put up a decent fight," I said to my opponent as I stepped onto the arena.

"Well, if I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. I don't think I'm particularly weak, but I'm certainly nowhere near the level of one of the strongest beings in the world," She replied with a wry smile.

Hm, despite her words, she has a look of determination in her eyes. She likely doesn't expect to defeat me, but she seems intent on putting up a good fight, at least, just as I'm hoping for. Good, I like that, certainly more than I would with baseless confidence.
