Kapitel 17: Talking with Kyuubi

As Yujiro braced himself for the impending battle, his anticipation for the thrilling fight ahead surged. His chakra surged within him, ready to be unleashed, and the demon silhouette within him stirred with restless energy.

The prospect of confronting the mighty Kyuubi filled him with excitement.

However, to Yujiro's astonishment, the Kyuubi did not launch an attack as he had expected. Instead, the colossal fox wore a perplexed expression, its immense brows furrowing in puzzlement.

It uttered a bewildering question, one that momentarily caught Yujiro off guard.

"Are you one of my brothers?"

The Kyuubi inquired, its voice laced with genuine confusion.

Yujiro, who had been prepared for a fierce battle, found himself equally baffled by the unexpected question. He blinked in disbelief and replied.

"Huh? I'm your brother? What do you mean, I'm your brother?

I'm flesh and bone, a human through and through. Maybe not in the soul and spirit, but you get what I'm saying, right?"

The Kyuubi regarded Yujiro with a thoughtful gaze, its crimson eyes studying him intently. It explained that Yujiro's chakra bore a striking resemblance to their own chakra, the chakra of the tailed beasts.

The Kyuubi regarded Yujiro with a thoughtful gaze, its crimson eyes studying him intently

"Weird. You, human, bear a striking resemblance to us, the tailed beasts."

Yujiro raised his eyebrow, intrigued.

"Tailed beasts, huh? Explain yourself."

"Your chakra, it's... familiar. The way you instinctively manipulate it within your body, especially when you summon your demon silhouette, it's eerily similar to how we used to control our immense chakra."

As the way Yujiro instinctively manipulated his chakra within his body, particularly when he summoned his demon silhouette, echoed with how the tailed beasts themselves used to manipulate their immense chakra. Yujiro folded his arms, deep in thought.

"So, my chakra resembles yours, and my control over it is similar to what you guys do?"

Kyuubi  with a hint of amusement.

"Precisely. It appears that the very essence of your being is intertwined with ours, despite your human form."

Yujiro's mind raced at an astonishing pace as he contemplated the revelation. It began to make sense!

Yujiro nodded slowly, realization dawning upon him.

"That would explain the crimson color of my chakra, my uncanny understanding of chakra manipulation, and the powers I've gained since I came to this world!"

It all fell into place.

The Kyuubi's words held a grain of truth. While Yujiro remained a human in physical form, it appeared that his very essence was deeply intertwined with that of the tailed beasts.

He pondered this revelation, grappling with the implications it held.

The Kyuubi, apparently lost in thought, continued to study Yujiro.

"You are unlike any human I have encountered."

The Kyuubi mused.

"There is something...stimulating about you."

Yujiro couldn't help but smirk in response.

"I've been called many things, but 'stimulating' is a new one. Perhaps it's time for a little demonstration."

With a surge of chakra, Yujiro's crimson aura enveloped him, and the formidable demon silhouette emerged from within. Its imposing presence filled the cavern as it towered over the Kyuubi.

The tailed beast's eyes widened in recognition and awe. It was now abundantly clear that Yujiro's power was no mere imitation.

It was an embodiment of the same primal force that dwelled within the tailed beasts.

As Yujiro flexed his newfound abilities, he couldn't help but wonder about the origin of his unique connection to the tailed beasts. The answers to his questions, he realized, lay not only in his past but also in the tantalizing possibilities of the future.

The atmosphere within the cavern grew tense as Yujiro and the Kyuubi locked eyes. The colossal fox, usually unflappable, now regarded Yujiro with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation.

It had recognized that Yujiro's power was not to be underestimated.

With the demon silhouette looming over him, Yujiro emanated an aura of dominance, his crimson chakra pulsating with raw energy. It was a display of power that would leave even seasoned shinobi awestruck.

The Kyuubi, despite its immense size, seemed dwarfed in comparison. Yet, there was a glimmer of familiarity in its eyes—a recognition of the primal force that coursed through Yujiro's being.

As Yujiro flexed his abilities, he reveled in the sensation of raw power surging through his veins. The demon silhouette, an embodiment of his inner strength, responded to his every thought and movement.

With a mere thought, he could summon devastating attacks or unleash torrents of chakra.

"Impressive!"

The Kyuubi murmured, its voice resonating through the cavern.

"You wield the power of your bloodline with remarkable ease."

Yujiro grinned, relishing the acknowledgment.

"That's right. I may not be one of you, but I've got your strength coursing through me even though I don't know how I got it."

The Kyuubi regarded Yujiro with newfound respect.

"Tell me, human, what did you eat growing up? You are unlike any creature I have encountered."

Yujiro's grin widened as he leaned against a stalagmite, his overbearing gait unyielding.

"I'm Hanma Yujiro, you don't need to know anything more than that."

The Kyuubi's immense tails twitched with interest. It had lived for centuries, witnessing countless events and meeting beings of incredible power.

Yet, Yujiro's tale promised to be a unique and intriguing one.

With a deliberate shift in the conversation, Yujiro decided to seek answers of his own.

"Speaking of stories, Kyuubi, what's your story? How did you end up sleeping within this mountain?"

The Kyuubi's crimson eyes seemed to gaze into the distant past as it recounted its tale.

"I was once a force of nature, a being of pure chakra. But power, unchecked and unbridled, often leads to chaos.

I caused untold destruction, and humanity lived in fear even if I didn't do anything bad towards the. That is, until the Sage of Six Paths appeared."

As the Kyuubi spoke, it described the ancient sage's arrival, his mastery of chakra, and his efforts to quell the tailed beast's rampage. The sage's wisdom led to the creation of the shinobi world, a place where humans could harness chakra for good.

Yujiro listened intently, his arrogance momentarily set aside. The Kyuubi's tale resonated with him on some level—a story of power, responsibility, and the consequences of one's actions.

Although, his story went to different trajectory because he was strong, very strong, strong enough to make a country's Prime Minister swore on Earth to him.

"But even the sage's wisdom had its limits."

The Kyuubi continued.

"In the end, he sealed the Ten-Tails, my original form, within himself. To prevent further calamity, he divided its chakra into nine parts and scattered them across the world."

Yujiro nodded in understanding. He had heard similar stories from Madara about the tailed beasts and their tumultuous history.

"Centuries have passed since then,"

The Kyuubi said, its tone tinged with melancholy.

"And now, I find myself comfortable within this mountain, slumbering for untold years. I was bored with all the fighting and chaos human created."

Then, Yujiro was curious about the tailed beast themselves as the Kyuubi mentioned that he was similar to them.

"Kyuubi, tell me more about the tailed beasts."

The Kyuubi thought for a while and decided there will be no problem telling Yujiro about them a little bit more.

"Hmph, so you want to know more about us, tailed beasts, are you? Well, I guess I can tell you a little bit about us. People like to give us names based on the number of tails they have, but don't get any funny ideas that it reflects our strength accurately.

It's just some silly convention, that's all.

And as for that ridiculous myth about tailed beasts being dumb without a host, don't be a complete idiot. We're fully sentient beings, capable of thinking, talking, and even feeling emotions all on our own.

It's not like we're brainless when we're not inside someone.

Here's the annoying part, though. Tailed beasts, we seem to be, well, sort of immortal.

You can beat us down, but we'll come back eventually because our bodies are mostly chakra. To really put an end to us, you'd have to completely wipe out their chakra, which is simply impossible.

But yeah, that's the only way to get rid of us for good, if that's what you're after. Don't dream about it, we're connected to the whole world herself!"

As Kyuubi finished telling Yujiro more about tailed beasts, always the opportunist, was rather bored but realized that they can have a battle without any worries.

Although, he didn't know if he was immortal or not, but the Kyuubi was, aha!

"So, Kyuubi, if you've been sleeping here for so long, how about a little sparring match?

I'd like to see just how strong was the mighty Kyuubi."

The Kyuubi blinked in surprise at the audacious request. Most beings would cower at the thought of facing a tailed beast in battle.

Yet, Yujiro's unyielding confidence seemed to pique its interest.

"A spar, you say?"

The Kyuubi mused.

"Very well, Yujiro. But be warned, I am no ordinary opponent.

I am the Kyuubi, the oldest and the strongest among my siblings, and you need to know that I'm not exaggerating a single bit of it."

Yujiro's grin returned, his overbearing gait unshaken.

"That's what I'm counting on."

And so, within the depths of the ancient forest, an unlikely battle was about to unfold. Yujiro, a human with the essence of a tailed beast coursing through him, faced off against the mighty Kyuubi, a creature of immense power and legend.

...

Before the fateful spar between Yujiro and the Kyuubi, they ventured beyond the cavern's confines into an uninhabited canyon. This desolate expanse was untouched by civilization, a place where the echoes of their impending battle would reverberate without consequence.

The journey to the canyon was a surreal experience for both combatants. Yujiro strode confidently, the demon silhouette ever-present, while the Kyuubi's massive form cast a long shadow across the uneven terrain.

The canyon stretched out before them, a vast, open battleground devoid of obstacles.

As they reached the heart of the canyon, the atmosphere grew charged with anticipation. The winds whispered through the rocky formations, carrying with them a sense of foreboding.

Here, amidst the solitude of nature's raw beauty, Yujiro and the Kyuubi would engage in a battle that defied the boundaries of human and beast.

The Kyuubi, its nine majestic tails swaying like banners of power, faced Yujiro with an air of solemnity.

"This is a place untouched by the hands of man, a canvas upon which our destinies shall be writ. Are you prepared, Yujiro?"

Yujiro's response was a confident smirk.

"I was born ready."
