"Nice. This place copied what's exactly on my mind," Louisanna told herself as she saw using her own two eyes how the whole place changed in a snap.
She can feel her remaining energy decreasing but she didn't mind it for a moment. All she wanted to do was to use her lucid dream power to create something luxurious that she would not have been able to do so easily in her real life.
The light continued to strike the sky but it stopped after she had reached her goal. Louisanna almost stumbled to the ground as her palm felt heavy after using a tremendous amount of power just to change the place where she's been.
But due to luck, she was able to stand up as there was a tree behind her on where she could lean her back.
'Did I create a tree here?' she asked herself as her brows furrowed.
She can't remember visualizing a tree beside her, but due to this, she could rest for a bit as she couldn't move her feet. It felt like it was glued to the floor.
Changing the whole environment drained her imaginary power, and although she was in a lucid dream— A kind of skill she obtained when she was a child, she can still feel the tiredness in her body.
"It was worth it, anyway," Louisanna whispered in triumph as she placed both of her hands on her knees while panting hard.
What she only did was stand up in the middle of the park and raise her arms, yet it feels like she did a ten-kilometer sprint. Her body won't catch up with her breathing in this state.
'This is so cool, no matter how long I look at it.' Louisanna's smile widened as she stared at the place.
This luxurious property in front of her was something she and her mom had been dreaming of years ago— Way back before her mother suddenly collapses and no doctors could diagnose her sickness afterward.
It was a mansion made of gold.
The two doors at the middle of the mansion were made of silver, the same as the two square windows at the upper left and right of the place. There were some Christmas balls hung at the top of the windows which were made of ruby, while the red carpet in front of the doors was made of iron.
It may be a simple house, like what she draws on her sketchpad every time their teacher tells them to draw a decent house for their family, but the materials used in it are exquisite.
This is their unrealistic dream that she could only achieve once she makes a lucid dream like this.
Unlike her classmates who can do a lucid dream occasionally, she can summon a lucid dream on her own.
The only downside of her lucid dream was the tiredness she feels every time she woke up, even though she just woke up and didn't use any of her energy at all, but the happiness she obtains every time she controls her dream was priceless.
"This imaginary power was so useful," Louisanna told herself as she stood up properly and stared at her right hand.
When it was her first time here in a lucid dream, she didn't know what to do. The only thing she wanted at that time was to escape and wake up because some sort of demon wolves were chasing her.
But after a while, she raised her hand as the light coming from her hand went up to the sky, making the demon wolves groan in pain as they gradually disappeared.
Like it was already ingrained in her mind, Louisanna knew already what to do as she changed the horrible place where she was into an ice cream shop.
In her first lucid dream, she ate ice cream that has an infinite amount of supply. It was still one of the happiest days of her life.
With their current economic status, she won't be able to do that unless she had a hundred dollars in her pocket, or if she's the daughter of a multi-billionaire person.
"Can I create other imaginary powers here?"
Like how she can modify or change a place, she wondered if she could make other powers— like telekinesis or teleportation that she always has seen in the movies.
But as she remembered how this one power drains all of her energy to the point she could feel how drained she was even if she already woken up from the dream, she shook her head and let go of that silly thought.
"No. I won't bother to create other powers. All I need is this one," Louisanna told herself as she extended her hand in front of her and opened her palm.
The mansion may be the most extravagant thing that she could summon to the point she can't ask for more, but it wasn't the main thing for her.
A white light appeared on her palm as it struck the grass on the floor in one hit. She didn't use much energy as the one she summoned wasn't that lavish, but for her, it was the most precious thing in her life.
"Right. This one."
It was her mother who was smiling in front of her. She was wearing a white dress like her, and there was also a white ribbon on her hair.
Dana, her mother's name, waved her hand as she greeted her. Her smile widened every second she was staring at her child.
She looked young, elegant, and healthy.
"Mom…" Louisanna called her in a low voice.
A tear fell from her eyes as she remembered the days she was with her mom. The days when her mother was the one who protects her from the people who judges them for the kind of life they had.
Now, she needs to do that alone.
Only in this kind of dream, she could be with her like in the old days. This is only the place where she could heal her mother herself and make her healthy again.
If only she can bring this power into reality, she would gladly do it. But because of scientific reasons, the thing she could do is finish her studies and become a doctor.
"Luna, dear," her mother called her by her nickname as she sat on the grass.
However, it was a nickname that only Dana could call her.
According to her mom, no one should know that it was her nickname. That's why she always tells people to call her by her full name— Louisanna, even though some people were complaining that it was too long.
"Come. Sit beside me." She tapped on the floor without breaking eye contact with her daughter. "I'll tell you something."
