Licht and his squad mates made it to the inn with glares that he received from others. Although it was alright in the port city due to the traffic of people, this place wasn't accustomed to seeing a Western continent people despite its status.
" Sleep well. We will meet with the master later."
Agam said with a calm face, reminding them to sleep early because they had a lot of things to do in this city before heading out to the next city.
Others nodded at his words while walking toward their room except Licht and Regina. Both of them had words with Agam since they were in a black market city where they could buy decent things for the future. Furthermore, they could even buy slaves even if it was banned throughout the continent.
" The black market is located under the city where old rat men tribe settled in before migrating up to the surface. The area is quite well managed due to the fortress master and he closed his eyes because of their fund needs. Fortress City is invaded by desert monsters almost every week, so they are heavily reliant on the market. I advise you to prepare for a good amount of money because you will find plenty of good things."
Agam explained softly even though he was reluctant to visit that place. Every time he heard of black markets he wanted to burn them down because they were a den of illegal activities. The sole reason for the annihilation of the port city black market in the past was his doing because, unlike this city, the port city was chaotic and messy. He and his comrades raided the biggest gangs and took them with heavy casualties despite their power.
" So, he is forced to accept its existence, huh? He seems to be a fair person in my opinion."
Regina commented lightly while sipping some beer. She quickly analyzed the situation and got her answers from the data. Her intellect was extremely high, particularly when it came to a crime she was almost a detective God.
" Indeed, he is a good rat man. However, prepared to be amazed. I won't spoil you today."
Agam smiled mysteriously while getting up from his seat. Licht glanced at his back, thinking about the future. He understood Agam was hiding things from them, but he was a good man. He adhered to justice and freedom and he loved showing his true face unlike most of the people.
" Let's sleep."
Licht said lightly, heading towards his room. Regina seemed to be lost in thoughts as she gazed at his back. She could tell Licht was angry like her, but this wasn't their kingdom and this world wasn't fair. They couldn't change the world because they were weak.
In the morning
The squad quickly finished their meals as they headed toward the city office where they saw 5 story buildings with reinforced iron skeletons and concrete bodies with enchantment magic. The entrance was heavily guarded by the elite soldiers and administrators were swift as wind.
" Number 35, please come forward. We received your request to meet the master and the master granted his personal approval. Please head up to the 3rd floor by using the magic elevator and head to room 305. It is relatively simple to find it because it is the biggest room on the floor."
The receptionist quickly explained to them while giving them papers. They took the official documents and went to the room where the master was located.
Knock, knock*
" Please enter."
A deep voice echoed to their ears as they saw a giant man with a height of 2.3 meters and a body filled with muscles. Moreover, he didn't look like a rat man except for his ears and tail.
" Agam, long time no see. Making troubles around the city?"
The master greeted Agam with a delighted look while getting up from his seat. He walked toward them and hugged Agam with his humongous arms.

They swore they heard some bones make a crackling sound as Agam looked pale. He pleaded for help from them.
" Master, we are from the West to visit the capital of the Holy Empire."
Licht said calmly while looking at the huge rat man. The man put Agam down and scanned their bodies, rubbing his chin.
