Thirty or so minutes later, the three had finished eating their fill.
Zenn looked at the sun.
Although his watch has hit twelve o'clock, the sun was still leaning back to the east. Unlike what he expected, it was no yet truly in the center.
This means that although his watch said it was in the middle of the day, the sun seemed to disagree. Seeing this, he ultimately came to a conclusion.
"A day in this world is longer than a day in mine."
Of course, he could not be 100% sure, but his meager science knowledge told him so. Seeing as he was done eating, Zenn decided to go back to doing what he set his mind to. He went back to the rune like writings and did his best to decipher them once more.
Just like Zenn, the goblins returned to their own mission. Although the two have been searching all morning, the mountain was vast. The still had other places to check. As such, the two set off to finish the task given by their god.

Reality.
Reality is a web created by our own thoughts, beliefs and perceptions. The world is vast and it takes up a majority of what we believe to be true. Over the years humanity has progressed and found repetitions in reality.
Repetitions are simply the daily occurrences that occur repetitively when a certain action is done. Like how when a person throws a rock in the air. The rock will move as intended. It will shoot onto the air, but at a certain point, the rock will halt and soon return.
You must have heard of the story before, a man sits under a tree. Under this tree, he suddenly had his rest disturbed by an apple falling from above. Just like the rock, the apple always lands on the ground as if it is a place to be desired.
Why?
Without fail, this occurs every single time. So the man was curious as to why this happened. As such, he researched and tested, till he one day had an answer.
The world constantly has a force that pull every single thing towards itself. As such, when an object get close to the world, it would be pulled back to it.
This man was not the only man who had such thoughts. My others like him were curious of the world around them. So they observed and tested till they had conclusions, theories and hypotheses. All with the intention of understanding the world they were in.
Ultimately their collective findings were called science.
Science was simply the repetitive action and reaction occurrences in our reality. As such, science is like a definition of our reality. How it is, how it was and how it always will be.
But ultimately, science always begins with observation.
Let us return back to the man. In order for him to ultimately discover gravity, he first had to perceive it.
If he did not see the falling apple, would it all have reached such a point?
Think of another man. This man is different from the first. What is different about is is that he was born without knowing the world. Because since birth, he was not only blind, but he had no sense of touch, smell, hearing or taste.
Basically, he was isolated from everything else within his own body. He was only but a brain with a body that served no purpose but to keep him alive.
But although he has so much physical disabilities, his mind was as sharp as any person. He could think and reason perfect without problem. But would he think like other humans?
Of course not.
Simply because unlike other people, he would be like a blank page. A page that could be drawn at will.
But there is a saying that humans can't think of what they have never seen before. To some extent, this is true. After all everything a person could think of has most likely has seen it somewhere before. Even fictional creatures are not unfounded by reality.
Dragons for instance. On first glance one would simply believe that they are something completely created by the mind.
But the creation of dragons was a formation of small parts seen in reality. These parts were added together to forms this creature.
A reptile's body and a bat's wings. Add these together and you get a dragon. It may not looks like it, but if you modify is a little bit, the shape will be complete.
With this example, it could be concluded that one cannot created what the have never seen or perceived.
If this is so, does this mean that the disabled man will have a blank mind forever? Since nothing can come in, then nothing else can be used to create wonderful creatures like dragons. Like a chef without ingredients.
In the short term, yes.
Creation is a hard thing. Just like how you currently can't just suddenly come up with a new colour. Creating something out of nothing is really hard. But this can also be contributed to our reality.
Because we are used to only seeing colours only our eyes are able to perceive, the ability to think of a new one becomes completely impossible to us because we have never seen one.
Simply, we are being restricted by our senses.
But the disabled man is not. He is a blank page. One that could be filled with all kinds of things. Maybe for a while he would be restricted like us, but maybe, just maybe he might have a breakthrough.
Out of that blank mind of his, something could be born.
Something so bizarre that it would be incomprehensible to us. It could simply be a line or could be something else. But whatever it is, it would be the beginning of the disabled man's reality.
...
I am not sure if this is true. I don't after all have a brain I can put in a jar. But I do believe it's an interesting thought.
please don't point me with facts, this is just a book for fun, not a science paper.
and I am still going to put the book on hold. for the time being.
Read my other books. Slaving Wolf and Guardian wolf. They are both about werewolves. If you re into that come on and have some fun.
