Meng Xi decided that she can't let Li Minji ruin her grand plan. Besides, it doesn't really matter to her the kind of personality that Li Ran has. Li Minji was sure that she'd be able to make her into the perfect daughter in law. 

"To tell you the truth, I've always worried about Sun Jing's habit of always focusing on his job. I think that he needs some other distraction in his life. If he gets married, I'm sure that he will focus more on Li Ran. Anyway, they are both young and they have thier entire lives in front of them. I'm sure that they'll fall in love with each other and live a happy life together!" Meng Xi said. 

Seeing that Meng Xi wasn't playing into her trap, Li Minji lost interest in the talk. She didn't know if Meng Xi was just faking or if she really didn't catch on what she was trying to tell her.
