Kapitel 24: What Really Happened?

No….this can't go on! She can't let Li Ran over shadow her. She has always been the one to over shadow Li Ran! She can wait anymore! She will have to do something drastic tommorow! She has always been the one to stand above Li Ran! She can't let her take away the things that she has been working so hard for so many years!

Li An was trying to put on an innocent smile while cursing Li Ran to the deepest parts of hell in her head. It was really a sharp contrast!

"It's a good thing that Li Ran has finally thought things through. You won't have to worry about her anymore" Li An said. She went against her concience to say this. Li An used to think that she already had the entire Li family in her hands. After all there is no way an idoit can compare with her. But now that the idoit seemed to have changed over night…she felt threatened. This can't go on!

"Sigh, I don't have much hopes for Li Ran. I don't hope that she will become as sensible as you or that she will help me out. I just want her to be happy" Li Zhengguo said. Ever since he caused her to lose her mother when she was just one year old, he had been doing everything to make it up to her. He spoiled her rotten, this is a fact. But he was ready to bear with the consequences, as long as his daughter can live a happy and free life.

"She has lived without a mother for so long…I didn't want my daughter to miss out on anything while she was growing up. Because of that, I could not help but spoil her. All of these things, it's my fault for giving in to her too much!" Li Zhengguo said.

Li An could not help but grit her teeth together in anger when she heard this. It's not like Li Ran is the only one who grew up without a mother. Even her had grown up without a mother too!

Her own mother Li Fanxing had chosen a useless man! And when she could no longer bear with it she left her five year old daughter with an older step brother whom she doesn't have much relationship with and went to travel the world.

Her own mother basically threw her away! At least Li Ran has a father who will do anything for her! Her own father is completely useless! He can't even do anything for himself talk more of her!

She deserves as much sympathy as Li Ran! No, she deserves more sympathy than Li Ran! After all, Li Ran has a father who will give in to her in everything! But she doesn't! She doesn't have anything!

Why does Li Ran get to do everything that she wants just because she doesn't have a mother?

Why does Li Ran get to have all the good things just to make up for the fact that her own mother didn't want her?

Li Zhengguo sighed again. He had a lot of things on his mind tonight. "Say Li An, do you think that Ran Ran still misses her mother?" Li Zhengguo asked.

Li An was forcefully pulled back to the present. Even though she was currently drowining in hate, she still put an innocent smile on her face.

It could be said that it was a good decision for Li An to join the entertainment industry!

"Uncle, every child misses thier mother. But you have done so much for Li Ran, too have given everything that she wants to her, I'm sure that she doesn't mind about her mother anymore" Li An said. Her words were aimed to sow discord between the father and daughter. .

Since Li Zhengguo has given everything he has to Li Ran, if she still misses her mother who ran away and left her when she was one year old, then she is clearly unfilal to her father!

But Li Zhengguo was too preoccupied with the thoughts on his mind to notice that this is what Li An meant.

Instead, the words that Li Ran had said to him on the phone earlier kept playing over and over again in his mind.

"Dad , I've never had a mother in my life! I really don't care about some mother who abandoned her own daughter. I'm perfectly fine the way I am!"

Dad, alright don't talk about it anymore. The reason why she left isn't important at all! She's been away from our lives for so many years. No matter the reason she left, even if she no longer wanted her marriage with you I'm still her daughter! How can she not come to see me once in all of these years?"

"Alright dad. There's no need for us to talk about those sad things. Im going to come home with Lu Sichen tommorow!"

Even though Li Ran kept saying that she doesn't care about her mother, he could see that she was just trying to avoid the topic. She clearly just didn't want to talk about it.

It was like she was trying to fool herself into believing that she just doesn't care at all!

Li Zhengguo sighed. It his all his fault! If only he had not been so hot headed then, if only he had tried to talk with his wife calmly, things would not have turned out like this.

But the mistakes have already been made, and it seems that Zhang MiRan won't ever be coming back.

"Alright it's already late. You should go to bed now" Li Zhengguo said.

He turned to walk back towards his bedroom.

Li An sighed in relief as she watched Li Zhengguo walk away.

Talking to her uncle is becoming more and more difficult.

But at least she confirmed one thing today. Li Ran's mother…..things aren't as simple as running away!

There are a lot of things that Li Zhengguo is hiding! .

What really happened to her?
