Kapitel 179: Ticking

  Marvin was staring out at the skyscraper as he thought of seeing Eris again. The butterflies in his stomach with that tight knot somehow made him sick. He was nervous and excited. But what if Eris doesn't want to see him again? Seeing how she would hide made her heartbreak. But if his dreams were correct that Eris loves him, he would fight for her. 

"Sir, they had arrived." 

  The ticking of the clock was louder than anything around him. 

"Sir," His secretary called as he turned around. "They had arrived." 

"Hmm," He nodded his head as they left the office. He wants to see her. But there were bodyguards around them and it was hard to see them. Their appointment will be tonight and it was in six hours. He can't even wait. 

  The door opened as Vera entered and removed her hat. She looked pissed already but the plan was on. 

"What's wrong?" Marvin asked.
