Kapitel 4: Freedom from...?

Even though i already know nearly everything, why do i fail again and again? Here, game correction takes it place no matter what decision i take it doesn't have much influence on the main stream senario. What it does is some minor changes, were as a simple action or decision of the hero event changes a whole lot of the worlds story direction. There was a regression in which i gained enough strength to take the main stage, but some force unknown to me was correcting my pace to make hero go to his event senarios. And boom he dies again that's what i expect from him.

I tried to take her and run to somewhere far, but it only took the demons 2 years exact to get there as well. And whole world was destroyed and trampled under the Demon God Aroxous. Yes that's what he started calling himself after he took the sealed piece inside the royal camber, which empire royality was protecting from generations. As i never had heard of anything about this while i was playing game cause i never died and nearly finished the game every time i played it. But even if i did died or game over was displayed on my screen i was just sent to the start of the game when hero was summoned to the world. And what happended to the world was never on my mind, and why should i even care of a background setup when i am totaly fixated on completing the game.

"So now this is also not the right way....fu"

I exhaled the air which felt like it was trapped inside my lungs. Many thoughts were swirling inside my mind but for some reason i saw no conclusion to my problems at hand. Every time when i regress i come to this same place with my same notebook in my hand.

"Even though i followed the game senario this time around but that also didn't help, now what?"

I was now looking at the notebook in my hand which was like a guide to me in each regression, i have already written all the points as i always do, everytime now and around i tried not to disturb the flow of story line. Even if i took drastic measures i always tried to not deviate the game senario from it's orginal flow as i was afraid of a future which i would not be able to predict.

"Was i wrong all along? Should i just set myself free from the plot?"

With this thoughts in my mind i got up from my seat walked towards the door, as i felt that just sitting around and rubbing my mind would not solve a thing and will just wear me out.

"Well let's get some fresh air!"

I left my house which without me was left aloof with just burning sound of a notebook near the chair i was just sitting a while ago.

"What's this?"

While i was going through my stats which already crossed what you call the point of belief, there at the bottom i saw a new section added. With a 😑 emojy added too. Whats with the emojy never heard a system or updates that works a way like that. And also what's about these etc why there is no full information.

"Talk about lazy system!"

comment: "I am not lazy, it's just a pain in the ass to display it all"

"What?.. never heard about a system that can have it's own thoughts."

I never thought i would talk to a system and it's a girl at that. I look pretty insane taking a system as a girl. Well as my stats goes i am already a total freak to speak of.

As i was engrossed in conversing with the system, someone approched me. Even though my concentration was totally on this new feature i was well aware of my surrounding, and i already sensed "her" coming towards me. And i also have no reason to avoid her.

"I never thought i would find someone here this early in the morning"(Nina)

When i turned behind there she was standing, her blond long hair was tied behind like a long pony-tail, her blue deep eyes were staring straight at me. In her hand, she was holding a stick like she was here for grazing her cattle. Even though chief has told her that there is no need for her to do this, she never give a ear to his words, this girl. Unkowingly a smile crept on my face, reminisce some moments of the past. A past for me not for her, i am just a village boy for her who is under care of her father.

"Are you Roye by any chance?"(Nina)

"Yes! you know me?"

"Ofcourse! i know the name of each and every kids under my father care."(Nina)

"Kids! but we are of same age."

At this she just stared at me with a smug look on her face, which i don't know why.

"The more mature a person is the more wise and older he is judged. And i am stronger and wiser than you so i am older as well. You can call me big sis Nina for a change."

Her logics and talks are silly as ever, her theories are of her own convenience. Even though i don't know how many times i saw dispair, but still her smiles warms my heart a bit. Even though i don't know how to react. I stood up to stand in front of her, her height was around the height of my sholder. Her build up close was akin a delicate girl. As i got close to her a familiar flowry smell reached my senses. Even though i was trying to intimidate her by showing how small she was, she puffed up her cheeks to show her displeasure.

"coming Emilia!... you are no fun."

She just ran away from me saying this, and by the way Emilia is the name of her sheep.

I know that very well, i saw the obvious comment. She is a good girl to the extent to sacrifice herself for others. Thinking this i felt a stinging pain in my heart.

(Nina pov)

It's the same beautiful morning in the village, i like sitting near the pond while the Emilia and her crew graze in the field around. Even though i see something unusual, someone was sitting in the spot which i usually take. It's not like this place is secret or anything but taking the exact place under the old tree shade, feels a bit.

"Well, who comes first get's serve first"

Do i know him cause i can somehow feel this know it all feeling about this guy. Well though i know he is Roye, but just that far is what i know. But for some reason i get this feeling that i need to talk to this guy or he will just disappear. But what should talk? how should i start the conversation.

"I never had a proper conversation to a boy of my age!...uuuuuu this is a tragedy."

Okay i will just go to him and say "hi" and then we can talk. But what if he just ignores me. While having a war inside my head I didn't realise that i walked close to him.

"I never thought i would find someone here this early in the morning"(Nina)

Stupid i am totally stupid, i open my mouth and first thing which comes out of my mouth is nagging. Look how dumbly he is looking at me, i need to say something to divert the mood.

"Nerve he has! trying to scare me off with his build and height. Though he looks smart."

Now why is Emilia shouting her throat out. This never happens, she is on quiter side.

"Hey! hey Emilia i am here. quite quite down girl!"

Even though i am trying so hard why is she not calming down. Did she got scared of something? I tried to investigate by looking around but nothing seems to be the problem here.

"Hm....why are there twenty-two sheeps, where did Mia go?Emilia did Mia enter the forest?"

Oh that's why she is so alarmed and looking towards the forest, but dad has restricted me from entering the forest.Now what should i do.

"But i think Mia would not have gone much far into the forest."

I will get scolded by father, he asked me not to go near the forest with the sheeps. But what can i do Emilia and others also likes this place.

"Need to punish this girl for this! well lets get going."

Even though i am not too far into the forest the trees are quite dense here. I hope i don't encounter an snake or something.

"It's just too much peace here, and that is what creeping me out"(Nina)

"Mia!.....Mia!....where are you girl?"

Even though i am bit too far into the forest i can't see any sign of her, where did she go.

"Mia!....i am not angry come out!"

This is not good. Now what will i say to my dad, and also this year's festival is near, dad was thinking of participating with Mia this time.

"I think it will be dangerous if i stray too far inside.....uuu...there is no choice i need to get my dad to search for her."

"Huh isn't that Mia's bell"

So she is around here, but how did she get this bell off her neck. Then as i was immersed in thinking of worst possible outcome, i saw the bush around the bell shake a bit. I was going to pick the bell up from the ground but i got alarmed by this and took my distance from the place and hid behind the tree. But the thing which came out took my breath away.

"What...how is a Claw wolf here? they should be deep inside."

There came a Claw wolf out from behind the bush.He was twice as large as the sheep,his face had a wound which was still bit fresh. But why here, it's quite close to the village as well. I was totally frozen on the spot due to the shock.

"I need to get out of here"

I could see blood dripping down his mouth so i can guess what was fate of Mia. But right now only one thing was on my mind, I need to get out of here. He looking around i think he didn't notice me behind the tree. So as i saw that he turned his face as if distracted, i took the chance to run for my life.

"I need to tell my father about this...uh"

As i was running as fast as could to get out of the forest, many thoughts and feeling where going through my mind. But suddenly something landed in front of me, i lost my footing and fell to the ground. It was the Claw wolf, he was blocking my way. It's over, i should have not entered the forest.Regret hit my mind for my foolish action,but.

"I will not go down that easily"

I picked the pebbles and stone near me, and started to throw them towards his face. One of my stone hit exactly on the fresh wound he had,in pain he retreated a bit. I took the chance and tried to run. But suddenly something stabbed my right shoulder, and due to the momentum of this strike i rolled a bit on the ground before stopping while slamming on the tree. I saw him licking his paw, his nails were cut short. But still those paws and his strength was enough to kill me. Blood was ozing out of my wounded shoulder, and also i think i twisted my ankle so i had no strength to stand. He was getting closer as if satisfied with what he got.

"Sorry dad! eventhough i though i will stay with you unlike mom"

The wolf jumped towards me to give it's finishing blow.

"Uhhhhhhh..."

I closed my eyes and hid my head between my knees aceepting the fate. But i didn't feel any pain other than my wounded shoulder. Only i heard something slamming the tree on my right.

"Even though chief warned you from entering the forest, but you are one hell of a girl."

I heard a not so familiar voice but still i felt assured after hearing it. When i looked up towards the voice, i saw the back a boy whom i just met this morning, standing between me and the wolf like a wall. I for some reason felt assured seeing his back and my vision blurred. I think i exausted myself a bit too much. So i lost my consciousness.
