Kapitel 25: Epilogue - A Hero In Another World
Valis sat on the edge of a building's rooftop, over looking the whole of the city in bright daylight. He took in his surroundings. Was this his new life?
"I've really messed up the device big time. How am I supposed to get back to my kingdom?" He looked down from the top, observing the streets and cars that were passing by. He then saw an alley way, where there were two people. He noticed the person in the front didn't know the second person was there. Was it another stupid mugger?
He flew down towards the alley way, the air breezing past his body. He hovered over the roofs of the alley, observing the situation.
"Just hand me your belongings to me and I'll leave you alone, lady." The mugger brandished a knife. The woman had turned around and saw him. She tripped while stepping back. Valis saw the time to strike.
"You shouldn't do that, young man." Valis slowly decended from the air as the two people watched in awe. "Are you some sort of superhero?" The man asked. "Super.. hero?" Valis never heard those 2 words used like that before. "Well I assume I am." He swooped down and knocked the man out with one punch.
The woman was scared as she watched this all quickly unfold. "You- you are a superhero!" She got up and ran over to Valis. He still did not understand what the term meant. He desended onto the pavement, and she gratefully went to shake his hand. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She had thanked him for potentially saving her life.
"No it's okay ma'am, it was the morally right thing to do. But could you please explain to me, what a 'superhero' is?"
