Kapitel 47: Real weddings

"What was that?" Ethan questioned her. 

"What was what?" Esmeralda asked him, glancing at him. 

"You said that wedding dresses are for real weddings, "Ethan said. "What part of our marriage looks fake to you? We will marry as a normal couple does."

"Ethan, "Esmeralda said. "Normal people don't marry to get a divorce later. What's the point of talking about all these futile things? Also, I don't think you are roaming with NDAs in your pocket."

Ethan pursed his lips, taking deep breaths. He didn't know why she was talking in such a way now. Why did it look like she was not happy here? 

"I didn't bring you here to get you a dress for your cousin's wedding, "Ethan said after a while. 

"I was not going to ask you to pay for it either, "Esmeralda answered. "As for the wedding dress, I don't have anything to say. You didn't even bother to ask me about my views. You decided for me. I don't like when someone tries to make decisions on my behalf."
