On Sunday morning, Fish got out of bed groggily, yawned widely and wiped tears from his eyes.
"Nya?"
(?Φ???)
Fish looked around, there was no one else in the dorm, there were no classes today, no registration or anything, so naturally there was no one to disturb his sleep.
Fish turned his head and looked at the alarm clock next to the bed.
It was a birthday present from Hermione, a Muggle-made electronic alarm clock that displayed the numbers directly on the clock, very intuitive and much more convenient than clocks with hands....
The only drawback was that it broke easily, and Fish had used the repair spell on it more than once.
At 10:12 there is still time for breakfast, and then eat some more, and we can even have lunch together.... Normally, Fish spends his weekends and vacation mornings like this.
Of course, before eating, the routine of fur licking, paw licking, and face rubbing is still indispensable, and by the time the cat was done, it was almost 10:30, so Fish reverted to his human form and rolled out of bed and headed for the Great Hall.
"Fish, you're awake."
Hermione had finished breakfast and was reading in the common room, when she saw Fish come out, she got up and called out to him, running to his side.
"Good morning, Hermione."
(つΦΦ)つ
Fish hugged Hermione for a while, then took her hand and walked out, "Hurry up and join Fish for breakfast nya!".
Aside from Hermione, the Gryffindor common room was naturally full of girls who were also waiting to meet Fish for breakfast, and as usual, they quickly followed the two.
On the way to the Great Hall, students and teachers were referring to Fish as "The Hogwarts Champion," a title he hadn't cared much for, but had felt a little proud of along the way.
"Speaking of which, where's Harry?"
Ψ(?Φ~Φ?)
Fish, who was eating breakfast, suddenly remembered another Champion.
"I don't know, I haven't seen him either." replied Hermione, shaking her head.
Fish didn't care, she was just asking, and besides....
Gabrielle, the girl, was here again.
"Fish!"
Gabrielle, as she had done the last few times, pounced on Fish and rubbed her face twice on the cat's chest before saying, "Why are you only getting up now? how lazy!"
"Fish is a cat, it's not normal for him to like sleeping nya." Fish replied with a straight face, "Have you ever seen a cat that doesn't like to sleep?".
The girl tilted her head and thought for a moment, and actually agreed with Fish's statement.
"That's right," Gabrielle said, nodding, and then she stopped pressing the question, "Where are we going today? Are we still going to visit the Forbidden Forest? Gabrielle wants to ride a unicorn! And I want to have Aunt Kora's stew for lunch! Y... Can I bring my sister this time?"
Fish had no problem with that, he'd play anywhere anyway, but he still wanted to ask Hermione's opinion, after all, she was his girlfriend, wasn't she?
"Hermione, do you want to go to the Forbidden Forest?"
"Didn't we go yesterday? Maybe next week, Gabrielle will be at Hogwarts for a long time, there's plenty of time to go to the Forbidden Forest."
There was nothing wrong with going to the Forbidden Forest, but Hermione was a little reluctant to take Fleur with her.
To be exact, Hermione was already a little angry when she saw Gabrielle picking on Fish again, but she couldn't lose her temper because she was a girl.
So Hermione thought that instead of going to the Forbidden Forest and letting the girl keep Fish busy, it's better to stay at school and let her compete with other girls for the cat.
Gabrielle still didn't understand Hermione's "sinister" intentions, and although she was a little upset that her proposal had been rejected, Hermione had been so helpful and kind to her yesterday, and there was some truth in what she said....
So instead of going to the Forbidden Forest, the innocent minx stayed in the castle and played with Fish.
Then Gabrielle discovered that...
There were so many bad women who were after Fish!
Even though they were always kind to her, even though they gave her good snacks, and even though they didn't forbid her to play with Fish....
But!
The time she spent with Fish was too short!
So they're all bad women! Worse than my sister who bullied me!
The first thing the girl did was to go complain to her only "good sister," Hermione, and only after Hermione soothed her with her soft voice did her depressed mood improve.
Then, with renewed vigor, Gabrielle joined the fight for Fish and ended up making the cat so unhappy that she dragged Hermione, who was watching, up to the seventh, to the Room of Requirement.
Inside the Room of Requirement, Hermione also saw Winky, who was hiding and drinking.
Although she had already spoken to Professor McGonagall on the subject of house elves, Hermione continued to talk to Winky for a while, hoping that she would realize that she was not to blame, but that it was her former master, Barty Crouch, who was to blame.
As a result, needless to say, the loyal elf scolded her severely, and finally she had no choice but to run aside resentfully to meet Fish.
Because there was a drunken house elf next to them, the two basically leaned against each other in cat-like fashion, rubbed and licked each other's fur.
When Fish wanted to move, he would release a Snitch or some other toy and chase it and pounce on it for a while, at which point Hermione would return to her human form and pull a book out of her bag that Professor McGonagall had given her to read.
The two stayed in the Room of Requirement until dinnertime, when they returned to the Great Hall for dinner.
This time, Fish finally saw Harry, but he didn't seem to be in a very good mood.
"Harry, what's the matter with you? You don't seem very happy, are you worried about the upcoming match?"
?(?ΦΦ?)?
Fish asked curiously as he approached Harry.
Harry looked at Ron, who was four or five seats away from him, and replied sullenly, "Nothing, I probably didn't sleep well last night."
Fish flicked his ears, a little confused.
He hadn't slept well last night... and why didn't he catch up during the day? It's not like he had to go to class today.
Just as Fish was about to ask something else, Hermione tugged at his shirt and winked.
Normally, Hermione would only take similar actions when Fish might piss off Professor McGonagall, so Fish stopped asking questions and sat back down.... although she didn't understand why Professor McGonagall would be upset if she asked Harry a question.
"Harry and Ron should have had a fight, so don't make trouble."
Soon, Hermione explained quietly in the cat's ear, clearing up his confusion.
Fish looked at the two and nodded in confusion, Harry and Ron had always sat together, it was odd for them to sit apart like this, and the two didn't communicate at all, it did seem like they had a fight.
The cat didn't care too much about their fight, Minerva and he still had fights from time to time, friends fighting, it was okay, Harry would invite Ron over for a bite to eat afterwards, or the other way around, and they would probably make up.
Fish had more to worry about than Harry and Ron....
Fish glanced warily at Professor McGonagall and Professor Moody at the teachers' table, noting that neither seemed upset, and Moody even winked at her....
Unexpectedly, Moody, like Snape, would not inform Professor McGonagall.
In Fish's opinion, Moody was the most pleasant of the four teachers in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
