Kapitel 147: Chapter 147: No one can stop Snape, only us! (Edited)

"Professor McGonagall!"

After dinner, Harry, who hadn't eaten much, hurried after Professor McGonagall, while Ron and Hermione helped watch Snape and the third floor corridor.

Professor McGonagall, who was about to return to correct the exam, stopped, "Potter? What can I do for you?"

"Professor McGonagall..." Harry, who ran up, took a deep breath and asked anxiously, "Where is Professor Dumbledore?"

"Dumbledore he..." the corners of Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched imperceptibly, "He received a letter this afternoon and has gone to London."

Harry felt his breath catch, the worst had happened!

He couldn't think much, he first looked around warily and then snapped at Professor McGonagall, "I suspect Snape is going to steal the Philosopher's Stone! Professor Dumbledore was lured by him on purpose!"

Professor McGonagall, however, was calm.

Her mouth twisted at the corners of her mouth and she lectured in a harsh tone, "It's rude to call a professor by his first name, Potter."

Harry was about to faint... Is this the right time to say that?!

"I don't know where you heard about the Philosopher's Stone, but it's safe now, no one could steal it," Professor McGonagall continued in a harsh tone, "And Professor Snape is one of the people responsible for protecting it, he couldn't..."

Professor McGonagall seemed to think of something and her expression suddenly became a little strange, then she turned hard, "Anyway, it's none of your business."

"But, Professor..." Harry was still not satisfied and tried to convince Professor McGonagall by giving her his analysis.

Unfortunately, Professor McGonagall didn't want to waste any more time on Harry, she waved her hand and said, "No buts, if you really have nothing better to do, you can go practice Quidditch with Wood and the others, if we beat Ravenclaw next week, the title will be ours."

"I have things to do," Professor McGonagall said and had the intention of leaving, but before she did so again she reminded Harry, "Don't let prejudice blind you, sometimes things aren't what you think."

Unfortunately, Harry Potter didn't listen, he thought Professor McGonagall was misunderstanding that he was framing Snape.

Harry didn't try to go to the other professors, as even his own dean wouldn't believe him, the others would probably also think he was being unreasonable.

So, without hesitation, Harry ran up to the third floor.

"Harry, what's going on?" Ron, who was looking down the hallway to the right, saw Harry and immediately greeted him.

"No, Professor McGonagall thinks I'm biased against Snape and she doesn't believe me."

Harry shook his head with a heavy look on his face, but before he and Ron could discuss what to do next, they saw Hermione running up with a panicked look on her face as well.

"Weren't you watching Snape?" asked Ron, lowering his voice.

"I was discovered by Snape. So as not to alert him, I had to leave first," Hermione waved her hand in dismay, "I know what Snape was planning to do by stealing the Philosopher's Stone!"

"For immortality and endless amounts of money, what else could it be for?"

Harry and Ron looked at each other puzzled, wondering what she was doing talking about such things at that moment.

"No!" Hermione said to the two men with a stony expression, "I heard him a moment ago when he was following Snape, he was very excited muttering the words 'resurrection' 'master' and 'Dark Lord'..."

"You mean to tell me that... stole the Philosopher's Stone to resurrect the Dark Lord!" Ron was so surprised that he almost forgot to lower his voice, but he reacted in time, looked around furtively, kept lowering his voice and asked, "Is it true what you say?!"

"What could I possibly gain by lying to you?!" asked Hermione, very annoyed.

"I'm sorry, I'm just really shocked..." apologized Ron before his emotions rose even higher, "All the more reason we should stop Snape!"

"But the question is how to stop him!" Hermione bit her lip, suddenly responding, "Oh yes, Harry didn't you go and inform Professor McGonagall?"

"She won't believe me, she thinks I'm prejudiced against Snape," Harry, who had been silent since Hermione's arrival, spoke up, his tone becoming incredibly determined, "I'm going to try and get the Philosopher's Stone first."

"Are you mad?!" shouted Ron.

But Harry ignored him and turned to run upstairs.

"Wait, Harry, where are you going?"

Hermione rushed to stop him.

"To get the Invisibility Cloak," Harry said with a determined expression, "We're the only ones who can stop Snape now, and the only way to stop him is to get the Philosopher's Stone first!"

He then delivered an impassioned speech, to the effect that if the Dark Lord came back to life, there would be no more peace in the magical world, and it wouldn't matter if they were cast out or not.

"You're right, Harry..." Hermione pursed her lips for a moment, finally convinced by Harry. She sighed and began to advise Harry, "But there's no need to rush, Snape will wait until everyone is asleep to steal the Philosopher's Stone if he doesn't want to scare them off, so we still have time to prepare... something like music to put the big dog to sleep. "

"Besides, can your invisibility cloak cover the three of us?" Ron also interjected at the right time.

"Us... the three of us?" asked Harry, confused.

"Oh, don't be silly, did you think we were going to let you go alone?" Ron pouted, taking offense at Harry's distrustful attitude.

"Anyway, let's get out of here, what did Fish find in the first place? The Devil's Snare, the flying key..." Hermione pulled the two of them, walking quickly towards the Gryffindor Common Room, as she remembered what Fish had told them, "And the magic chess!"

"And then he came back with a smelly troll." added Harry and Ron from the sidelines.

The three of them hurried back to the Common Room, where a group of people were having fun.

"Hey Harry, come play our new and improved Magic Monopoly!"

Fred, one of the twins, motioned to the three of them, "Help George and me see what we can do to improve it."

George and Fred had seen how popular Monopoly in the Muggle world had been with wizards, and immediately jumped at the opportunity to develop a version of Magic Monopoly more suited to wizards.

But this kind of game can't be perfected overnight, and the twins have been at Gryffindor for a while now collecting input for what is now their sixth revision.

"Sorry, we have other things to do."

Normally, Harry would have been very interested in trying it out, but now, he could only decline the twins' invitation with a smile.

"Where's Fish?"

Harry had gone to the dormitory to get his invisibility cloak and had tried to ask Fish for a music box, but he had looked around and hadn't seen him.

Harry had actually thought about taking Fish, after all his successes, but after assessing his chances of surviving Hermione if he did, he reluctantly desisted.

"Oh, I think he got into trouble last month, and Professor McGonagall postponed his confinement until after his exams so as not to interfere with his revision," Seamus, who was helping the twins with their Monopoly exam, replied, and said with a stretched, regretful expression, "He's probably in Professor McGonagall's office right now.... I think."

"Good thing Snape isn't going to run into Fish on his nightly wanderings when he goes to steal the Philosopher's Stone."

Hermione whispered in Harry's ear, confirming once again that if he called Fish, his life would be in danger before Snape could do anything.

Without the box, Harry had to take the flute Hagrid had given him for Christmas, and if the flute, which sounded like a hooting owl, didn't work, he would have to sing the carols he had learned from Dumbledore, as Fish did when he was drunk.

After collecting his invisibility cloak and the flute, Harry went back out of the dormitory, and did not rush to the third floor, as it was not yet curfew and there were still many students wandering around the school.

They found a secluded corner, put on the invisibility cloak and waited in silence, with only Hermione whispering about the possible spells for each level and how to deal with them.

It wasn't until curfew was over and the outside students returned to their dormitories that the three of them slowly made their way to the third floor.
