Kapitel 72: Chapter seventy one

(Matthew''s POV)

I don't know when I fell asleep but waking up now, my body aches really badly. It's been a very long time since I had felt this much pain since any injuries heal within a few minutes max.

The room is dark and the only light coming in is from the doorway but it stops right past it.

I raise my hand to clean the sweat on my forehead, temporarily forgetting about the chains but I'm promptly reminded when it touches my bare thigh, creating a sizzling sound.

"Damnit." I flinch, throwing my arm to the side.

"Careful there, you might hurt yourself." A mocking voice sounds through the room, causing me to snap my head up with a glare.

How did he get in here without me knowing? These chains must be dulling my senses, unfortunately I can feel the burns of the chains just fine.
