Kapitel 19: Chapter 19: Wedding Plans

The week went by calmer than Florence expected. Maybe because she was so nervous about the weekend, she didn’t pay much attention to anything else. One thing bothering her though was that she didn’t know how to tell Emma about what was going on with her.

Of course she wouldn’t be able to hide it from her best friend forever. Florence would get married to the man with whom Emma was obsessed with for a few weeks now.

She knew Emma would love to hear about it, but how much should Florence share with her? Should she also keep things from her as she did with her parents? She still wasn’t sure, so she decided to wait a bit longer until she had time to think it through.

Scott called her in the middle of the week to tell her that his grandfather had scheduled lunch on Saturday for them in his mansion. Florence was already expecting it, but she still wasn’t used to the idea of being surrounded by luxury and money.
