Aella plopped the spoon of pudding into her mouth as she watched the lad in front of her chew his food so delicately that one would think he was such an angel.
She sipped from her cup of water as she watched him without break, wanting him to notice her.
Finally, Bane looked up and she didn't back down but only kept on staring at him.
"You are staring," Bane stated.
"Obviously, one who was interested would have noticed long ago," Aella huffed.
"Do you have something to say?" He asked and Aella leaned back in her chair.
"Tell me, Banelion, since when have you been so disinterested in literally everything you do?" She crossed her arms over her torso as she raised an eyebrow.
"Am I obligated to answer that?"
"Do you have a reason not to?" Aella retorted.
Bane looked down at the table before he sighed gently.
