Kapitel 90: Chapter 90 - Another Talk

Kazuya left his mother's room, glad his session with her had been over with. It wasn't because he hated being with his mother, but rather because she was getting too mushy with him. It was a playful issue he always had with her as he grew up, and she had not given up on her old habits.

Now it was time to talk to Kanako. If what his mother said was true, then she didn't take his absence well either. He wanted the apology to be sincere, not just some bland apology that she would grow up remembering as fake and not genuine.

He stopped in his tracks as he began to think about it, but knowing himself, he knew that sitting back to think about it would do no good either; given his tendency to overthink things at times like this, he would remain where he was for the rest of the night without doing anything. So without thinking any further, he opened the door after knocking briefly, and inside the room, he found Kanako sitting on the floor, facing the window.
