Kapitel 606: A Break Before The Tournament (*RR)

Err… Yeah… About that…

We passed the preliminaries as one of the top ten teams pretty quickly. We were pretty much the fastest team to clear our matches and anyone we were matched up against pretty much had no time to rest before needing to fight us.

There were two teams that immediately gave up after winning their matches without even meeting us, three who forfeited the moment they met us and another two that also surrendered the moment we won the first round.

Only one team full of male Mahuns fought us to the end and that was more because they were stubborn than because they stood a chance at winning. I suspected that they hated the thought of losing to girls or something with how desperately they fought.

Speaking of which… I made a killing by betting on ourselves to win each round of the matches. We were even allowed to win the bets on ourselves when the opposing team didn't even show up to fight and we won those by default.
