The intelligent red eyes of this new beast glowed with pure unadulterated anger, then the next moment Christensen exploded forward with speed.

The Unique Space Beasts saw him but they could do nothing about his speed.

Not just his speed, Brutus' mutated abilities in the partial form enabled him to transverse through shadows in a way that he had never done before.
