Hi everyone!

Also, I decided to make two shorter chapters instead of one longer chapter so that its a little easier to space the time skips. I think the next few chapters will be like this as well.
--------------------
The moment the Angels from the 2nd Tenma War disappeared, Guy immediately called another meeting.
He privately told Milim and Velgin about some potential members, speaking about another Beastman, a Deathman, a Human, a Centaur, and a Kijin. On top of current 10 demon lords, there would be a grand total of 15.
"Isn't that a little too many?" Milim asked bluntly, although both Guy and Velgin agreed.
"Don't worry, I have a plan to reduce our number." Velgin said with a fake evil laugh. It wasn't actually evil since at this time, about half of the Demon Lords are indeed evil, rather than when the Octagram was formed, where all the Demon Lords were neutral or good.
Milim didn't understand what was going to happen, but Guy smirked and said, "I'm looking forward to the show."
A few days later, during the night of the full moon, Guy once again summoned the Demon Lords for the Walpurgis.
Over the past 500 years, there have been a few meetings, but not much really happened. There were a few land disputes, as well as a small change in members, including the most recent meeting where Roy replaced Luminous as the Vampire Demon Lord, though Luminous still posed as Roy's maid.
Besides that, the Human Demon Lords from 500 years ago all died by natural causes, and had their descendants inherit their position. Velgin really disliked this, since it lowered the combat power of the group, so she would change this.
When the ten current members of the council appeared inside the meeting room, they sat according to the order that they joined. Then came the 6 potential Demon Lords, who sat at the far side of the table away from the First Generation.
Really, the only important Demon Lords were the First Generation who sat at the head of the round table, and the trio of Second Generations who would survive past this meeting.
Velgin actually had plans to meet with Dagruel in the future. Not to make him join her faction, since he secretly sided with Milim during every vote, but instead to do something about his evil younger brother Fenn.
In the web novels, Fenn was stated to be as strong as a True Dragon, and Velgin didn't want this monstrosity to get out in the future.
Besides Dagruel, Dino was also someone to note, but the only business that Velgin had with Dino was removing the mind control from his Ultimate Skill. But thinking it over, she decided not to do this, since it would actually be a pretty fun battle to watch between him and Zegion inside the labyrinth.
And then there was Luminous, who Velgin had already befriended. She didn't have formal business with her, but Velgin thought that she might visit in the future.
Besides those three, the only others to note were Roy, the substitute of Luminous, Kagali, who although is friends with Velgin, wouldn't stay on the council in the end, and then Gelmund, who was Velgin's plan of culling their numbers.
With the addition of Gelmund, there were 16 Demon Lords. That was way to much for Velgin, and she wanted to lower the number to below 10, but preferably 8.
And so, when the meeting began, and Guy was introducing all the potential Demon Lords to the current ones, Velgin manipulated Gelmund to basically say that all the other potential Demon Lords were nothing more than food to him. As an Orc Disaster, he was a Special A ranked monster, so he did have some right to say that the others were weak compared to him. But two of them, the human and the Centaur attacked him.
Gelmund didn't care, since his regeneration ability prevented weaker attacks from causing permanent damage, and was able to quickly kill them with ease buy grabbing the arms that attacked him, holding on tight, and eating them like chicken legs.
The Kijin and Beastman were also angry at Gelmund's actions, but didn't make any moves, wanting to be crowned a Demon Lord first.
But that never happened, as Gelmund went on a rampage. He was already close to awakening as a True Demon Lord, and just needed more human souls, which he collected from the two he had just killed.
In the midst of his evolution, he rampaged through the room, sending his large Rot attributed tentacles to attack every single person.
Guy protected Ramiris, and Milim, along with Velgin, Dagruel, and Dino, watched with some interest. Luminous was too busy discreetly protecting Roy, and Kagali wasn't doing to great, but Velgin protected her.
But during Gelmund's evolution, Guy started watching with more interest than the rest of the group.
It wasn't because he was strong. In fact, the awakened Gelmund could be considered the weakest awakened ever, still not reaching S rank. Instead, what interested Guy was his Ultimate Skill, [Envy King Leviathan]. Somehow, Gelmund's [Starved] had evolved, not along the [Gluttony] path, but to [Envy] instead.
As a small thank you gift to Gelmund, Guy ripped out his heart, ending his suffering in this world. Now, all that he needed was [Hope King Sariel], which Velgin knew would appear within 500 to 1000 years.
After Gelmund's rampage, there were only 7 Demon Lords left, which were the trio of the First Generation, the trio of the Second Generation, and Kagali. But during their talks, Velgin proposed to make Roy a third generation along with Kagali to even out the generations. In reality, she did this because Roy was too weak in her eyes to be a Second Generation, but everyone bought into her claim.
