Kapitel 9: Chapter 9: Perfect Spider Serum

A moment of suspicion followed and the Avengers's headquarters was shrouded in confusion and doubt.

At the same time in a luxurious mansion,

Tony was silently sitting on a couch with an emotionless face.

It was the 180th day since he had completely failed.

He, the Iron Man, had blamed himself all this time.

His sight occasionally went to the picture of little Spiderman on the counter, and a bitter smile appeared on his face.

Suddenly,

{Avengers, hum, a group of ridiculous insects that can be suppressed by a movement of my hand. Try to reverse the destiny if you can.}

The familiar cold voice was like a murmur in his ears. His face lost all color.

"Tha…Thanos!"

The man who could always keep a calm persona lost his mind on hearing the sound and gashed his teeth.

"Jarvis, Investigate this sound and find out where it came from."

"Yes sir."

A cold and mechanical voice answered. After being out of operation for hundreds of days, the Artificial Intelligence began to operate again.

As the Avengers and, possibly, more than half of the universe were in turmoil because of his voice, the burly man with the purple skin was holding a syringe in his hands. His face displayed an odd expression.

"If I inject this, will I get the power of that little spider?"

"Technically, it should surpass his power. This is a perfect serum."

Displaying a smile on his face, Roco curiously looked at the syringe in Thanos' hand.

Maybe, because it was a perfect serum, the liquid inside the syringe was crystal-clear.

He could even see a faint and colorful light glaze appear on the liquid in the bright sunshine.

Obviously, this was a very pure serum.

As he started to hear Roco's explanation, Thanos' eyes started to narrow down.

He was no stranger to the little spider.

When his group had attempted to steal the Infinity Stones, the little spider had been an eyesore. His tough white spider-silk could had entrapped Thanos many times.

However, that was all he could do.

In terms of strength, he was nowhere near the top.

Thanos contemplated and then threw the syringe away.

"Boring stuff."

Roco's eyebrows twitched, and he was quick to catch the falling syringe.

"Boring?"

Roco surprisingly looked at Thanos.

A royal sight captured his attention. Just like a king, Thanos had put his hand on his knee, and he was looking at the sun. His back faced the hillside as he sighed. "I don't think that the power from people who failed before should be of any concern.

Roco, who was left speechless, shook his head in a daze.

Spiderman was indeed far below Thanos in terms of Strength.

Even more, Thanos was an eternal, beings at the apex of the universe.

Objects like spider's serum were dispensable goods to him.

Roco thought about it and looked at the syringe in his hand. His eyes flashed with enthusiasm.

Thanos didn't need it. But, for an ordinary existence like Roco, this serum was undoubtedly a treasure.

Besides, it was a perfect serum.

It could give power, at the very least, one level higher than Spiderman' power level, which had been gained through an accident.

"System, can I use a customer's thing?"

[Ding! The system has no right to interfere in this.]

As he heard such a response, a slight smile appeared on Roco's face.

I was worried about my strength growing too slowly, but I didn't expect to get such a benefit.

It should be clear that the Spiderman's power was insignificant to Thanos.

However, his power had its own merits.

Roco knew it had some skills, such as Spider Sense. This ability could be used to gather information around by feeling the vibrations in the air, like a real spider.

It was a very useful skill that presented another way of acquiring information. Even in darkness, this ability could be used to feel things as if it were a bright day.

There was also another practical skill, Spider Power. It allowed the person to gain a power similar in scale to that of a spider's. The strength would reach 15-20 tonnes, and one could easily lift heavy objects like cars and reinforced concrete.

Surely, the Spider Power gained through the perfect serum would be more powerful than this.

The most important thing to note was that the spiderman's power not only directly affected Roco, but also altered his other abilities.

For Roco, it should be a smooth transition.

But one should tread step by step.

Roco believed that the system could boost his strength in a second if he asked.

But that was not what he wanted.

The power gained this way was like a tree with no roots.

And if one met an enemy at the same level, one would be easily defeated.

Therefore, this ability to make an ordinary person like Peter Parker into a superhero was a huge temptation to him.

Peter Parker was a normal person, and so was he.

Similarly, he could also adapt to the sudden increase in strength and lay down a foundation for the future.

As he thought of this, his heart also tried to make a decision.

Suddenly, as if noticing something, he looked up. He found Thanos staring at him with a weird look.

"Er …"

He made a squeak. It was as if he had been found doing something he shouldn't have been doing. Roco's face became strange. But, without waiting for him to explain anything, Thanos raised his hands and said, "Try it. let me see how magical it is to make you stare at it for so long."
