Proceeding with calling Azure and double-checked with him about the massacre, she gained the understanding that it was real. It had happened and it had many casualties, almost the entire village. And Azure's documentation also confirmed that the villagers had lost their memories about how the witch looked like, her identity, and events surrounding it.

Nobody could be asked about this.

"Surveillance?" Chiaki asked.

Azure shook his head. "I can't recall how Lance Hua came into this world. As always, it's a messy world after all, there's no coherent history."

"But at least there should be surveillance, right?" she tutted.
