Kapitel 90: Surrender

"It's done."

Chiaki's sharp eyes lost their temperament and turned into lovely pair of gentleness. She patted the seams that she did on the bandage proudly. Although she rarely had to bandage anyone, and that included the old Chiaki's memories, the result was neat enough so the lord wouldn't be hindered in his daily activities. 

"You're good," he said in a clipped tone. His fingers brushed at hers when he lifted his arms to wear his shirt again.

Chiaki didn't know whether her heart swelled because of the praise or the physical touch that felt so scandalous.

It was as if she took advantage of the lord unbeknownst to him.

"So, I, I go back to my room, yeah?" she asked with a wavering voice. Lifting her butts from the bed, she stood up and nodded to Lance Hua.

"Previously," Lance Hua stopped her from moving farther away, "did we sleep together?"
