As the ballet went on, Poppy was in awe as her sister, the prima ballerina, danced across the stage. Although the show them was dark, Apollonia looked like sheer grace and beauty as the star made her way around the stage.
"What do you think, my darling? Are you enjoying the show?"
"She's beautiful."
"She is, and she'll make me high dollar. After the event, we will head downstairs to the auction."
"What will they do with her?"
Luke leaned over noting, "Whatever they want."
"He's right," Jaxson smiled. "I thought about placing a bid myself. I've never had twins before. But it's too risky. Your father has been snooping around too much. When she's sold, he'll never find her again."
Poppy didn't say a word as she watched the dance. Remi, reaching to grab her hand, gave it a squeeze, letting her know she was with her.
Grabbing her belly, Poppy cringed. "I don't feel so well."
