Kapitel 536: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

ARIANNE POV

"Mom, will you quit messing with my hair, for the last time I'm fine!" Caeden exclaimed, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Oy, don't you get pouty with me mister!" I warned, unable to resist licking my hand to smoothen one of his rogue curls. He wrinkled his face at me in response.

With a sigh, I turned to see look at Cyril who was standing in the far corner of the room.

I watched from a distance as my daughter, Cyril, quickly shoved something inside her bag before zipping it up. Curiosity got the best of me, and I walked closer to get a better look. To my shock, I saw that it was a dagger.

"Cyril, what are you doing?" I asked, my voice laced with concern as I approached her.

Cyril turned to me, her innocent face breaking into a sweet smile. "Nothing, Mom," she claimed, trying to brush off the situation.
