Kapitel 498: THE DARKNESS WITHIN HIM

ARIANNE POV

I sat outside my son's bedroom, my heart heavy with worry. It had been two long days since he had fallen into a deep sleep, and despite the Madea and Tag'arkh's best efforts, he had not shown any signs of waking up. I could hear their hushed voices and the sound of their footsteps as they moved in and out of the room, their faces grim with concern.

At one point, I thought I heard him crying, a heart-wrenching sound that made me want to rush to his side. But my friends held me back, their hands gentle but firm, their eyes filled with sympathy. "Madea and Tag'arkh know what they're doing, my dear," they whispered, their words meant to comfort me but failing to ease the ache in my chest.

I sat there, unmoving, my eyes fixed on the closed door of my son's room, willing him to wake up, to open his eyes and smile at me like he always did.
