Kapitel 78: THE RETURN

I waited for a minute for the excruciating pain I would surely feel on my face but I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes to see Ivan staring at me, his grips on my hair gentle as he stared at me, confusion swimming in his grey eyes.

"What did you say?" Ivan asked cocking his head at me.

I held on to his hand holding my hair. I gently pulled it away and held it in front of me, "Ivan, I am pregnant!"

Ivan let out a shuddering gasp as he took shaky steps away from me. "Arianne?" He cocked his head at me.

"Yes!" I say excitedly finally getting a glimpse of my husband, "Its me Ivan! Arianne!"

Ivan frowned deeper as he stared at me. "Arianne?" He called again while I nodded my head happily, then he looked down to stare at the sword in his hands. He frowned at it as if he had no recollection of how it got into his hands.

"Ivan?" I called as I took cautious steps towards him.
