Kapitel 56: Ferdinand's Fate In Scarlett's Hands

Scarlett had never gambled a day in her life and she could only hope her poker face was good enough to sell it. It was her only hope.

His nasty stare at her made her remember that forbidden day again.

Ricardo stared down at her for a long moment, his fingers twitching at his side near his gun. But she'd managed to sow a seed of doubt in his mind. He glanced at his men and with a sharp nod sent them out into the warehouse to check around to make sure nothing bothers him while he deals with the facade in front of him. 

Scarlett nearly choked on her relief as her subtle trick worked on a sharp head like his. She'd successfully bought herself another couple of minutes to think of something to again escape him as she was aware the more she stays with him the more dangerous it'll be for her as Ricardo will surely punish her severely for escaping him for months. She needed to make good use of them anyhow and hope for a miracle to happen.
