Kapitel 31: Chapter 31- Utter Defeat
(A/N: Completely my fault, I sucked at writing, I wrote all the tiger arc and only introduced the tiger as a Her in the last moments…MB, so just an info, The tiger is a Her, not that it mattered rly, but it kinda sets the tone.)

Long Ren swerves his head and looked back. He saw the Chaos Tiger as two different colored eyes greets him, one black, one white. His palms start to get sweaty. They radiate a powerful pressure upon him.
He immediately space-stepped to the old man's back and hid. No shame in hiding from such pressure.
The old man chuckled at Long Ren's antics and waved his hand, deflecting the pressure. Long Ren looked at him and sighed. "Thanks," he said.
"No problem, now," The old man looked at the Tiger, "Tone it down please," he said, as the Tiger complied and retracted his pressure.
Long Ren look at their interaction and a glint passed through his eyes. "You guys seem close," he said.
The old man chuckled while the Tiger snorted, releasing a puff of black ash and white smoke. "You can say that." The old man said.
"If you count getting sealed for one hundred years close, then sure." The Tiger said and snorted once more.
Long Ren did not expect this situation to go as it did. He never expected the rank-7 beast to be able to talk, but, is it really a rank-7 beast?
"Sealed? So you're not actually rank-7?" Long Ren asked.
"Hmm? What do you think?" The Tiger answered as it rolled its eyes.
'This bitch.' Long Ren thought as his mouth twitched, 'No need to go all sarcastic on me.'
Seeing the tension between the two of them, the old men interjected. "A couple of hundred years ago, our founder supposedly sealed it. Now, it is just here for me to use to tone down prideful cultivators."
Long Ren's mouth turned into an "O" as he heard the old man's words. Now it makes sense.
There is no way a mere rank-7 beast would be able to talk, much less exude that much pressure. If they really could talk at rank-7, then Long Ren would say the threshold for intelligence is way too low.
And if they could gain this much intelligence this easily in the first place, it would be weird for humans to be able to dominate the world.
Humanity's mind serves as their greatest weapon. Coincidentally, it also serves as their greatest enemy.
As the Tiger no longer pressured him, Long Ren decided to shoot a couple of spatial bullets toward the Tiger.
The Tiger snorted in response, as its puff of smoke traveled at a speed Long Ren could not comprehend. The puffs of smoke appeared in front of his fingers and engulfed the bullets.
Before they could even go into the portal, the bullets just poofed away.
"..."
"Heh?" Long Ren exclaimed.
The entire interaction took less than 0.5 seconds. Long Ren's eyes and mouth opened wide as he could not process what had just happened.
The Tiger growled at Long Ren, "Just because I'm sealed, doesn't mean I could get pushed over by ants." The Tiger said and then turned its attention to Long Ren's storage ring. "Give me half of your fish.".
Long Ren looked at the tiger weirdly. "No..? Why should I?"
The tiger grinned. "Fine, But don't expect to leave here without missing a few limbs." He said. The tiger clawed its paws into the air as a tremendous amount of qi gathered at the place, almost distorting the space around.
Claw marks formed at the location as it immediately pushed itself towards Long Ren.
Seeing this, Long Ren's eyes opened wide and immediately used [Space Step], avoiding it just by a literal hair's breadth. But it didn't stop there.
The claw marks split into two as they homed towards Long Ren, surprising him even more. As it traveled towards him, Long Ren predicted their trajectory and pivoted his body accordingly. The distance between them was barely enough to accommodate his actions.
He successfully dodged them once more.
The two marks passed through him and split once more, resulting in four marks and they stopped moving. Only for them to move a couple of moments later towards Long Ren.
"Oh fuck off!" Long Ren said. Sweat dripped from his forehead, the pressure of the claw marks only multiplied as time goes on! Literally! He can't dodge them, but he also knows he can't block them.
'Overpower them? With what? I doubt my normal bullets could even scratch that.' Long Ren thought, completely out of options.
"Just give me the fish, and no one gets hurt." The Tiger's voice resounded throughout the forest as its laugh appeared next.
Hearing its voice, Long Ren gritted his teeth. "Fine, you want the fish? Take it then!" he said. He took out four fish and threw them towards each of the claw marks.
The tiger's eyes gleamed in glee as it opened its paw and four fish appeared on it, at the same time, the four claw marks disappeared. Seeing this, Long Ren felt cheated.
"Good boy~," The tiger said as it smiled meaningfully at Long Ren while munching on one fish.
Long Ren gritted his teeth as he saw the tiger's smile. "Oh, you'll pay for this," he shouted.
The tiger's smile only got larger, "Come at me whenever, just remember to bring some fish, or your limb will be the tax." It laughed as it gulped another fish down.
Long Ren space stepped near the old man. "This tiger is annoying." He said.
"Heh, you're the only person so far that has ever tried fighting it. Usually, people I brought here immediately gave their fish." the old man chuckled as he pets his beard.
"Is this why you asks me to take more fish before?"
"Hm? No, it was really a gift for Old Xing, it just so happens that you stumbled upon this tiger and decided to feed it some fish." He said with a smile. A smile that he and the tiger shared.
Long Ren's mouth twitched, a vein on his head almost popped, "Whatever, you guys make a good pair." he said, as both the tiger and old man laughed.
