Kapitel 33: Sire an heir?
(Lust's Office)

Inside Lust's Office, all his friends where gathered including Rage. They all sat on the couches in his office discussing.
Lust was seated on his chair as he twelled his seat with a pen in his mouth.
The door barged open making them all turn their eyes towards it.
"And where were you?"Lust asked as he observed Austin.
Austin rolled his eyes at him and plopped himself down on the couch beside Gabriel.
"What are you, my mother?"he asked chuckling.
"You have been scarce to see these days. Where do you go?"Gabriel asked as they all stared at him.
"Let's just say I have been having so much fun lately that I haven't had in years"he replied grinning from ear to ear.
Leonard kept watching him as he observed how rumpled his clothes were and his hair looked unkept. He smirked and averted his gaze.
"Be careful, too much fun kills"Lust said chuckling.
"Oh trust me,I know but I can't stop now"Austin replied smirking.
" So what are you all doing here together?Is there something I'm missing?"Austin asked as he stared at each of them.
Lust sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Rage doesn't want to become king. He was about going to the council to inform them."Lust spoke.
" Woah! Why?"Austin asked surprised.
" That I don't know yet. We have been asking him but all he says is---"
" I just am not ready to become king"Rage spoke glaring at Lust.
" That."Lust concluded.
" Do you need more time or something?"Austin asked.
"No.I am not just up for it,that's all. Why do you all keep making it a big issue?"Rage asked as he glanced at them.
" We are not making it a big issue,it is a big issue!" Austin said.
Lust spoke"The Rage we know has always been ambitious and after the thrown. Now that it's being handed over to you,you are rejecting it why?"Lust asked annoyed.
" That's none of your business"Rage replied drowning his wine in a gulp.
"So..there is a reason."Austin concluded.
" What is it then? You can trust us."Gabriel spoke.
Rage ignored all their questions and directed his gaze at Lust.
"You can ascend the throne."he said.
Lust's eyes widened "What?!"he asked looking surprised.
" You and I both know that they will never accept me. I am not Demora's son. They know that. Heck the entire Kingdom already knows that by now"Lust said frustrated.
Rage chuckled not in the least bothered "Then this kingdom is toast then" he replied unbothered.
Lust banged his table annoyed by this new behavior of Rage.
"What has gotten into you?!"he asked angrily
"you know what will happen if you don't accept the kingship and rule this fucking kingdom. Those power hungry council men will pick someone among them to take the throne. Someone who they can control. And where are we going to be left? Under their shoes!"He said glaring at the less concerned Rage.
"...And let's not forget,the kingdom of Gorham has many enemies waiting in the dark for the perfect opportunity to strike. Since the two strong forces keeping this kingdom strong are no longer present,they will start coming out. Someone needs to ascend the thrown to restore balance. Gorham has been without a ruler for too long."Gabriel spoke glancing between Lust and Rage.
Austin smirked at him as he ruffled his hair"ai..you are growing up so fast" he wiped his eyes like a proud father making Gabriel punch him on his arm.
"Gabriel makes sense. Rage speak to us please"Lust pleaded fed up with all the talks.
Rage sighed frustrated"Where are mom and dad when you need them the most. One is suffering in dad's torture chamber and the other disappeared leaving his responsibilities"Rage scoffed running his hand through his hair.
"I-can't ascend the thrown because---"he trailed off uncomfortable with how they all stared at him.
"Can you all not look at me that way"he sighed.
"What way?"Austin asked.
" Like you are about to swallow me up,it's uncomfortable"he said.
" Right.Sorry"Austin apologized still staring at him without blinking.
Rage sighed and glanced at his brother.
"The truth is that I-i impregnated a maid, someone below status and if the council finds out, I will be punished so it's best I don't take up the thrown"He said.
" You are lying"Leonard spoke up for the first time since the conversation began.
He sat up and stared at Rage with his piercing eyes "Whatever it is,is so hard for you to say that you opted to lie"he said as he observed him.
Rage got up annoyed at being the center of attention.
"Don't you all have your own lives! Stop butting in mine!"he yelled annoyed as his eyes glowed.
None of them flinched at the mere presence of his demon.
Lust asked calmly again"Tell us the truth Rage"he spoke.
"The truth is that I am impotent okay! I'm impotent!!"he yelled and punched the wall.
A pile of dust fell from the place he punched.
He sat down feeling depressed.
They all stared at him in shock.
"H-how?"Lust asked confused.
"That's not possible right?"Austin asked.
"It is" Leo spoke "A few demons have been documented to not be able to breed" he replied.
" How did you find out, are you sure?"Lust asked with concern.
Rage sighed"I-i tired several times with--- "he trailed off.
"With who?"Austin asked curiously.
" ---With Rosa but I just couldn't get her pregnant"he concluded.
" Rosa? The succubus?"Austin chuckled surprised.
" No the maid"Rage replied sarcastically.
Austin rolled his eyes at him.
" So...you mean to say you tried getting her pregnant but couldn't?"Lust asked wanting to confirm what he heard.
Rage nodded.
"Since when have you known this?"Leo asked curiously.
"For four decades now"Rage replied.
"Wait..What?!"Lust eyes bulged in surprise.
" And you didn't tell me?" He asked offended.
"How could I,I didn't believe it myself. I consulted a lot of physicians, tried alot of things but it didn't work. Why do you think I asked for more time from the council"Rage replied feeling pent up.
" So what do we do?"Lust asked staring at every one of them.
Austin shrugged his shoulders while Gabriel looked away.
Lust sighed in defeat slumping on his seat.
"What of you Leo?,you are the smartest one here "Lust asked.
" Hey!I am smart too"Austin spoke feeling offended.
" Oh yeah? Then tell us what to do?" Lust asked with a raised brow.
Austin looked away making Lust chuckle
"Thought so."
"Well...he can still ascend the throne"Leo spoke gaining their attention.
"According to one of the books I read. A demon King can rule without having a direct heir" Leo spoke.
His words captured their attention.
"How?"Rage asked with hope.
"Well... someone has to provide him with an heir. Someone with his blood who also has a right to the throne. And in our case, that someone is---"
"--Lust"They all concluded staring at him.
Lust blinked confused.
"I don't understand,how do I give him an heir,I am not a woman"Lust said with a disgusted look.
They all chuckled at his expression.
"Not sleep with him but sleep with someone and give him an heir"Austin explained amused.
" Since you are his brother and have royal blood in you, it will be fine since you are also royalty. All that matters is that the kingdom gets an heir even though it's not from the king but from his brother"Gabriel explained.
" Correct"Leo said.
Lust blinked his eyes letting their words sink in
"I-i don't think I am ready to be a father and Chris and I are not even solid yet,we still needs years or even decades to get to that point"Lust spoke shaking his head in refusal.
He isn't ready to put such responsibility on Chris's head. She's still too young to have a child of her own. She is still a child herself.
"She's not a child brother"Rage chuckled as he heard his brother's thoughts.
"I agree"Austin smirked.
Leo watched him. He felt unnerved by his smirk.
"And it mustn't be her. She hasn't even been accepted as Father's child or even a demon and she is still in the process of acknowledging her powers and activating them. It will take a long time for all this to be completed"Rage said.
" What are you suggesting?"Lust asked with a furrowed brow.
" Come on lust,you are the demon of lust Asmo-" Austin trailed off as he saw the death glare he was receiving from Lust and the others.
"I will just shut up now"he said keeping quiet.
Lust sighed. He felt like a lot of responsibilities were being placed on his shoulders. Have a child? With another woman? How will Chris feel when she hears it?
"She doesn't have to know and if you want me to be king,you have to agree to sire an heir"Rage finalized.
Lust sighed frustrated and annoyed.
Him sire an heir?
