"Yay! Big sis Meko is back!" the little one dashed towards the tired Fumeko.

The brunette's small and shoulder-slumped frame was nearly knocked back into the door she came through. She grumbled under her breath; letting it go for a few seconds, she pushed the child away by the shoulders, "Look, I don't like you, you don't like me."

"I don't think that's the case here," Hotaru remarked.

"But I told dad I'd take care of you. So, I'm gonna lock you in your room till morning since you should be asleep by now."

Hotaru sighed…

"I'm not sleepy yet! I can stay awake the whoooole night!" Kineko jittered as she kept bouncing up and down in Fumeko's hold.

Fumeko could practically feel the bags under her eyes, "Yeah, that's a problem."
