Kapitel 46: Crying in the dream

Édouard slid into the blanket next to Charlotte. Since the bed was large, she asked him to stay on the other side. Her back was toward his face.

"You did not tell me that Aurora came," Édouard said.

Charlotte opened her eyes. "Aren't you supposed to call her Princess Aurora?" She asked and turned on the mattress to face him. She was beaming at him. Did Édouard lie to her when he said that he only loved her?

"You look angry," Édouard stated, keeping an amusing smile on his lips. He was thinking about whether Charlotte was jealous of Aurora or not. To confirm this, he wanted a few more questions from her regarding Aurora.

"I am not angry," Charlotte plainly denied that statement.

"So, why did Aurora come here? Did she want to see me?" Édouard questioned.

"Why would Aurora come to our room at the night? She did not come," Charlotte lied to him.

Édouard smiled to hear that answer. He confirmed that Charlotte was jealous.

"Why did you smile?" Charlotte asked.
