Kousuke arrived at the French restaurant five minutes before the appointed time. His car was left to the valet. On steady steps, he approached the glass door of the fine dining restaurant.

A hostess was there, respectfully greeting the patrons and checking the reservation list. She stood behind a podium-looking counter. Kousuke stopped opposite her.

"Hello, I'm here for the reservation under President Kishimoto's name," Kousuke mentioned in a calm tone despite his lack of spirit inside, "Has he arrived?"

The hostess nodded once. Lowering her head to look over the list, she replied, "The president is waiting in the private room. Please follow the staff, mister."

"Thank you."

Kousuke was led to one of the private rooms by a waiter dressed in his black-and-white outfit. The ambiance of the restaurant was just like any other fine dining one he had been to before. The patrons were enjoying the delicacies while chatting under low voices.
