Kapitel 78: Contempt

He was a useless person who lived off a woman and even took his wife's money to squander...

Wayne furrowed his brows and glanced at the smug Mia.

Then, he no longer paid any attention to Mia in front of him. Instead, he walked directly to the counter in the center of the hall.

He didn't want to listen to Mia's mockery anymore. He planned to cash these checks directly.

However, when Mia saw this, she took a step forward and stopped Wayne.

She then snatched the check from Wayne's hand.

"I'm the lobby manager of Rick Bank! Since you want to cash the check, I have to see if it's real or fake!"

As she spoke, Mia looked at the check in her hand.

Then, before she could see anything else, her eyes were attracted by the number on the check.
