Kapitel 7: [Yes…I’m The Child Of The Primordial Dragon Goddess Of Chaos!]
The 4 adventurer's ears stopped ringing as they finally got back to their feet only to see a dragon that had the aura of a Deity and was huge sporting divine silver wings and yellow-golden eyes.
Their mouths were hanging open in shock as they didn't know what to think. Had the empire never known about this gigantic dragon that was living this close to them?
How had other adventurers that left the empire not have known? Forget that how had the whole world not have known!, they wondered.
The leader of the High-rank demons finally spoke up. "Hohh a dragon that exudes the aura as strong as members of the Dragon Royal Family. How interesting! My name is Zale, Im a high ranking Demon Peer officer that serves The Demon Lord of Wrath!"
"I'm a servant of one the 7 demon lords of sins that serve The Demon King Of The Abyss, also known as the God Of Destruction and Calamity and one of the 10 Supreme Gods in this realm!"
Zale had a sadistic grin that I wanted to wipe off his face his arrogance was irksome to say the least. I just wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible.
"Kufufu! I haven't dreamt of engaging in a battle like this in a long time! This should be fun, entertain me will you? I'm sure you'll be quite the gift for my lord!"
"Worororororororo! Is that really what you think? No…surely not, you must be mistaken right?"
I let out out a deafening sinister laugh that gave off a very eerie vibe almost like a war cry (reminiscent of Kaido from One Piece).
Everybody that was present felt their heart sink from their chest as they heard the evil diabolical laugh of this mythical creature they'd known as dragons, but this one was way too different from the others.
Even the High-Rank demons felt fear from this laugh they started to wonder just who this dragon was but as soon as they began to think it spoke in a deep majestic voice that had immense pressure.
"Foolish mortals! I bow to no one…I was born in this world for two things and two things only. That is to bring peace and prosperity to those who I deem worthy, or to obliterate any and all enemies that stand in my path! Said Chaos.
When they heard this everyone froze what did this dragon mean it was born for only 2 reasons? What kind of being held that kind of power? Only the gods had the power to do that and they hardly ever interfered with any races outside of their own.
He also has unshaken confidence towards one of top officers in the Demon Lord Of Wraths army. Everyone's thoughts ran wild wondering who this dragon could be, why was he this close to a human Empire? Why did it seem like this dragon came out of no where?
The high-Rank demon Zale also was terrified as to what this dragon meant. He had never seen a dragon like this before though the confidence and attitude it showed towards him made him furious.
He was one of the top officers in the Demon Lord Of Wrath's Army known as the strongest demon lord! So why was this dragon acting so arrogant?
It was once said that the Royal Dragon Family could probably fight on par with the demon lords but they never did because they never had a reason to and there were very few of them.
But what would happen if they had this dragon on their side and encouraging them to annihilate the demon race once and for all just because he offended him.
Zale began to panic he has to make sure that it doesn't happen. Anything goes he'll have to threaten this dragon to make him come to the Abyss, or he and his subordinates will have to fight to the death!
He soon made his decision as he said with confidence, "I have no time for glorified lies! Come with me to the Abyss and let's see how strong you truly are! You talk a big talk let's see if you can even manage to land a blow on the strongest demon lord in the Demon Kings army".
Zale wondered if he would take the bait knowing that him and his subordinates would be facing 4 S-Rank adventurers and a mysterious dragon with the strength of The Royal Dragon Family they would definitely be killed.
If this dragon were to come to the Abyss he would surely be annihilated with the full force of Hell. But now their very lives would be decided by his answer.
"Worororororo! Do you take me for a fool?!"
This time I made my laugh louder and more terrifying than before producing massive amounts of damage to the surrounding area.
"A mere High-Rank demon Peer… Dares to say that I lied! Do you even know who you're talking to right now? You damned demon brat, think before you speak!!"
When the others heard this they felt even more fear as if their hearts would jump out of their chest. The sound of this dragon's maniacal laugh could make people feel fear like they have never felt before. The way he speaks as if he was an old god and everybody else were children.
Finally even the leader of the adventurers team had to speak up his voice trembled with fear though he was known as one of the strongest S-Rank heroes in the Araezia Empire and one of the Emperor's personal guards yet he was nothing in front of this mysterious dragon He then said,
"Excuse my insolent question, but I've never seen a dragon with the aura and color you have, just who are you?"
A deadly silence filled the air everyone was waiting for what the dragon had to say.
Then a loud voice boomed through the air,
"Very well… listen now mortals, i'm sure it will be wise for you all to engrave my name and face into your hearts and souls… As I want you to remember me well!"
"My name is Chaos Zefnir, I am the child of the Primordial Dragon Goddess Of Chaos. The one who once reigned over all races and realms of this universe, the one true supreme deity of this world!"
"I was born from her soul fragments, I was born only but a week ago so my power and skills are still lacking. Although a human nation or high-ranking demons would be of no concern…"
I glanced at both the adventurers and the demons I knew this was a lie. If I got caught off guard not paying attention to my surroundings I would surely face death but a couple of adventurers and a few high-rank demons I could definitely handle.
Silence filled the air, what the hell did this dragon just say? The people he said this to were high-ranking demons and S-Rank adventurers. They heard the legends of The Primordial Dragon Goddess Of Chaos and they knew she was the most powerful being second to nothing.
Everyone of high status in every kingdom around the world heard the legends that had been passed down. They knew she was a being that knew no rival with absolute authority and had the power to back it up.
If what this dragon said were really true it would cause a huge uproar all across the world which was what everyone present was thinking. How could such a being really exist in this world after all this time and he was born only a week ago and is already this powerful it's absurd.
Zale was absolutely terrified as he believed everything the dragon had said. It all made sense to him now and he was now contemplating on what he should do next. What he said proves why he had an aura of a Demi-Deity and the Majestic silver color of his scales.
The scales that gave off the most radiant glow he had never once seen before now and how he spoke with the utmost confidence. It was all starting to add up he now knew who he just offended it would surely cost him now.
He knew If he didn't correct himself and apologize in the most respectful way possible he and his subordinates would be put to death as easy as that.
So he said, "Chaos-Sama, please forgive what I said earlier… I had no idea who you were!" as he bowed to show his respect. He then seen that the other demons gasped in disbelief and anger they seemed to not be wavering as they didn't want to let go of their pride of being in the Demon Lord of Wrath's Army.
After all this work they've done and blood they shed to get where they were especially since they were newly promoted high-ranking demons, that wouldn't back down now no matter who the opponent was. Little did they know, that was a fatal mistake he now knew they awaited death. When Chaos saw this he could do nothing but laugh.
'Even After hearing all that they are still wavering to show me respect?! At least their leader was smart enough to submit, but it doesn't matter they've already done the damage!'
"Insolence! I'll show you just how far away we are in terms of strength! This is the power of my Chaos!"
I activated 80% of my passive skill [Dragon God's Aura Of Chaos] where only the demons could feel it.The targeted demons all started too feel immense pressure as they all unintentionally kneeled on the ground.
Even the leader of the High-rank demons could not stand under the gravity-defying pressure they were now feeling. It felt like their insides were being liquified and It was as if their souls were being crushed as well, they had no choice but to submit.
Yet they couldn't even speak and they knew that the dragon they repeatedly offended would not show them mercy.
They now regretted not apologizing and choosing to live to fight for the Demon King another day… but it was eat or be eaten, and they knew that was all over and that this was the end for them.
