Several minutes later, Ji Chengyuan looked at the trembling butler, "What are you standing here for?"

"Eldest Young Master, I was wrong," the butler hastily said.

"What did you do wrong?" Ji Chengyuan asked, puzzled.

"I didn't report to you in time about Tan Xinyi."

"Tan Xinyi? Why do you bring her up again? I said I don't know her," Ji Chengyuan stated, frowning.

The butler paused, then looked up, "Eldest Young Master..."

He tentatively asked, "Then, do you remember Miss Zhao Xiangxiang?"

"I don't," Ji Chengyuan said impatiently, "In the future, don't mention people of no importance to me."

The butler, "...," he was at a loss for words.

Ji Chengyuan walked out of the study and as he passed by the room next to Ji Chengye's, he heard bangs and thuds coming from inside.

He knocked on the door, and when there was no response, he opened it himself and entered.
